Mission Accomplished
Born 2000, M, from Ardsley/NY, United StatesOh this is hard work, Craig murmured to himself, as he climbed the long bumpy mountain to the little house on top. He just wanted to get up so badly and finish what he had to do. WHAT DID HE HAVE TO DO ANYWAY? He thought about it, then shrugged and continued up. Harry and Samantha were way in front of him, and he hated scaling mountains, but Steven, the leader, who gave all the orders, forced him to. Just as Craig felt like he caught up, his foot slipped on a small point.
“Aaahh,” yelled Craig, as he started his downfall. He could see his life flashing before him, everything he accomplished, like beating the evil mastermind in Cuba, but this is something that he may never get out of. Just as it seemed like he was going to die, he stuck out his hand as a last resort, maybe he will catch something, he thought. His luck loomed bright. His hand clipped onto a small ledge, 20 feet from where he used to be stationed.
“Crai....” that was all he could hear from where he was now. He examined his surroundings and noted a radio station area about a mile from where he was located now. He started to shimmy his way across the mountain, and finally he saw land next to him. He was about to step his way onto the land but he saw something that made him reluctant to go. There was a five feet distance from the mountain to land. Ohh this is too hard. Maybe I should go back to Samantha and Harry, or I will stay here in hopes that they will come. But that’s too risky. I must move on. Craig tightened his belt and threw himself from the mountain. Going, going, yes. Half of his body landed on the soft ground, the other half beginning to pile with snow over the mountain. He heaved himself forward and reached the ground, where he now started to run towards the radio station that he had seen. He slowly reached for the door but then thought it better to look into the window to see if anyone is in there. He scurried to a small, barely noticeable window and peeked in.
The sight that he saw next made him whine. About 5 people were standing around, armed with weapons. They seemed to be throwing darts at a picture of Harry, Samantha, and me. I guess I found our enemies. Craig crouched low as he attempted to find more information on these unknown people.
Ring, Ring! Craig’s futuristic watch started to beep uncontrollably. He touched the screen and Steve popped up. “Craig, where are you? The others said they were trying to find you.”
“I’m at this radio station and I think I’ve found our enemies.”
“Okay, stay there. I will tell the others where you are.”
With that, Craig continued his journey to find out more info. Maybe he will find their motive. He rolled into a ball and jumped to the side of the station. He found a tray that was bolted into the wall, it could barely fit him but it was enough for him to crawl in there and find out why they were doing this. He took out his laser packer and took at all the bolts with a couple of beams. He pulled the tray out and sneaked his lean body into a rather confined space. As he moved along, his futuristic watch beeped. Its Samantha and Harry. “Hey guys, what’s up? Where are you?”
“Were trying to find you. We can see this radio station.”
“Okay come from the outside. I'm here.”
The two ran up from their location and reached Craig’s destination. They all crouched down and went into the small vent.
“Okay, here’s what we’re going to do. Were going to see what these guys are doing, and try to find out what their plan is. Then we will get out of here, report it to home base, and then capture these enemies.” Samantha and Harry both nodded in approval and they started to stare down the bad guys. Just when they came to a conclusion, a screw bolted out of its spot. The vent started to shake vigorously, with each shake came more screws popped out. Crash! The vent splattered to the ground. The three were shaken up, but there was no time to aid each other. They were face to face with the three enemies.
It just happened. One person on either side fought one person on the other side. It was Samantha against 99, Harry against 100, and Craig against 101. At least that’s what it said on their shirts. At first, no one moved. They just lined up in rows and stared at each other. Finally though, Samantha made a move. She swiped her legs under 99 and he crashed hard to the floor. That got it all started. Everyone started to fight each other. Craig punched 101 in the face, he punched back. Harry kicked 100 in the gut, he kicked back. Samantha though was on the ground, practically being strangled by 99. Harry ran over to get him off. He kicked, punched, choked, anything you could think of, and 100 did not like it. He picked him up, and threw him against the big rock that was in front of them. Harry lay there, not moving one bit. Craig gave one big blow to 100 and he finally fell to the ground. As for the other two, they ran off, probably to get help. Craig and Samantha ran over to Harry and carried him towards a small cave at the edge of the cliff. Harry didn't look too well. Craig became very tense.
“I’ll stay with Harry. You go do whatever you can.” Samantha was trying to sound soothing, but she wasn't. My best buddy is severely injured. Those guys will pay. Just as Craig started to run off, he slowed down and started to have a mental break down. What if I die trying to save everyone? Why can’t Harry just live and we go on with it? This is not worth it. Craig started to head back to the cave but stopped once again. But this is for Harry. I can’t lose him. If I do, it’s like losing a part of me, and I won’t be able to live like that. I have to do it, for Harry. So he started his path to the station. When he was about halfway to it, he stopped and tried to think who those bad guys could be. 99 and 100 seemed unfamiliar, but 101, he rang a bell. Craig thought very hard, and it came to him. John. John Allen from high school. He was such a big shot, always saying how good he was at sports. Wow. I should've known. Well, he’s gonna die tonight. With that, Craig continued on his journey to the station. Several minutes passed by and it still was nowhere in sight. As Craig began to move from his location, he spotted a long tower out of the corner of his eye. He began moving in that direction.
After an hour, he finally got to the station. The three villains were setting up behind the station. He could just barely see one of the guys’ shoes. He crouched onto the ground and started to crawl. Since he was in a white suit, it would be difficult to spot him in the snowy weather. Almost there. He was gasping for air because of the white mist that blockaded his face. As he turned the corner to the radio station, he stopped. He peeked around the brick wall and noticed that they were setting up a missile. It was heading somewhere. Where? He wanted to find out. Just as he moved up a bit more, 99 spotted him. Craig charged at them. He remembered he had a switch knife in his pocket. He took it out and stabbed 99 in the stomach. He instantly fell to the ground. One down, two to go. 100 and 101 had peculiar weapons. Craig dodged each slice and tackled both of them. He knocked them out and dragged them to the cliff. He threw 100 off but 101 slipped away. He punched Craig in the face and kicked him 5 times. An intense battle scene followed as punches and dropkicks were being exchanged. Finally, Craig swept 101’s legs and rolled him down the cliff. He stayed there until he could not see him anymore. Blood dripped down his face. He dislocated his jaw, he could tell because he couldn't even move his mouth. But there was no time to stand around and mourn about it, he ran over to the cave and saw that Harry looked worse than before. He called for help on his futuristic watch, and 10 minutes later a helicopter arrived.
Samantha and Craig ran over to the helicopter and were about to climb the steps when Craig suddenly took Harry from Samantha. I will do it myself. I want to carry him. Craig started up the ladder, climbing behind Samantha. He quickly evaluated Harry’s condition and saw that it was critical. They had to get there, quick. I could never survive a day without Harry. He helped me get through rough times, he came along with me on long journeys, he always came over to help with something, if it were school or not it doesn't matter. But this boy cannot die.
After everyone got to the hospital, Harry received several surgeries and was miraculously alive. Even though he came out of the hospital with major injuries, and it took him three years to rehab, he was back up, and ready to fight again. With his buddy of course.
