Caught blood handed

Darkness approached the Mysteria lane as the sun disappeared behind the woods. Children were scuttling towards their houses as their parents summoned them with fear. Every single person in Mysteria lane knew that there was killer amongst them since Mrs.Margaret the old pensioner was found in slices in her kitchen a few days ago.

At 11.00pm, a stealthy shadow crept towards Mrs. Finch’s backyard while everybody was fast asleep. The felon took soft steps towards Mrs. Finch’s back door and unlocked it with ease. The kitchen was deserted, nothing but silence occupied the atmosphere. The visitor withdrew a sharp shiny knife from his satchel and advanced towards Mrs. Finch’s bedroom like an agile kitten hardly making any noise.

Poor Mrs. Finch, who didn't know her life was on line, slept like an angel filling in the room with her grunting snores. The stranger took one last look at the victim, strangled her neck by one gloved hand and forced the glistening blade right through her chest.

Next morning, Mysteria lane was awakened by shrieks, sirens and wails. Police vehicles and Ambulances rushed within minutes and her body was taken for inspection at a forensic lab while the neighbors were interviewed. Watching all these occurings, a satisfied smile cracked in the murderer's face.

Two days later, Mr.Quintes, the local pharmacist, was arrested for murder of the two ladies in Mysteria lane and was imprisoned in a mental institution for the criminally insane. The evidence which led for this discovery was revealed in the newspaper, next day. "Mrs.Finch had installed a CCTV security camera which recorded the whole crime from the time the killer entered the room and until he gave out his hysterical laugh which was instantaneously identified by the neighbours of Mysteria lane."
