View Author Profile

Once there was a little girl called Rosie. One day her mother came up to her and said: "Rosie, when I die, can you chop off my head and put it on the mantlepiece?" So, four weeks later, she died so Rosie cut off her head on put it on the mantlepiece. Then, her father came up to her and said: "Rosie, when I die can you chop off my head and put it on the mantlepiece?" So, two weeks later he died so she cut off his head and put it on the mantlepiece. Then her little brother came up to her and said: "Rosie, when I die, can you chop off my head and put it in between mummy's and daddy's please?" So, four days later he died, so she cut off his head and put it on the mantlepiece.

Then, that night, she heard a bang coming from downstairs. She went to go and check, everything was fine except for the heads. They had vanished! She thought they must of fallen off so she went back to sleep. Then, she heard another bang coming from downstairs again. At that very moment she heard a voice say: "Rosie, we're downstairs." She went to go and check but nothing was there! So she went back to bed. Then she heard another bang and another voice: "Rosie, we're on the stairs." She went to go and check but nothing was there. So she went back to bed. Then another bang and another voice: "Rosie, we're at the middle of the stairs." She went to check, nothing was there. So she went back to bed. Then another bang and another voice appeared: "Rosie, we're on the landing." She went to go and look, and there was a big puddle of BLOOD. But she thought she must be dreaming so she went back to bed. Then, another bang and another voice: "Rosie, we're at your bedroom door." She hid under her blanket. Another bang another voice: "Rosie, we're at the end of your bed." She hid even further. "Rosie, we're right beside you." And in the morning, Rosie was there, in her room, on her bed, DEAD!
