The last few months have been horrible because I have had the worst nightmares at night. Every night I would have insomnia and I would lie sweating in my bed scared of the nightmare that night or I would fall asleep and he would get me.

The man who gives me nightmares. The man I met a year before, he was at my school talking to my principal. Never saw him again. Until one night when I had the worst nightmare about him getting me.

It was my bedtime but I didn't want to go to bed. But my mom made me. I lied there looking at the ceiling until I fell asleep. He was there and watching me in my dream, he took away my dreams and brought them to reality. I woke up sweating and all I heard was the clock ticking. Tick. Tick. Tick. The wind blowing through the window and footsteps. Footsteps?

I got up and walked to the door. I slowly put my hand to the handle and opened it. My heartbeat was high and I was so scared. I looked down the hall and saw darkness. All I heard was the clock ticking. Tick. Tick. Tick. So I went back to bed but the problem was my bed was made. When? I got up I threw the covers to the ground. Now I was really scared so I went to my parents, they were not there. When I turned around there he was staring at me with his blue eyes and a knife in his hand. Woosh!!!

I woke up with a scream and my parents came. I guess it was a nightmare so I went back to bed.

But what the kid didn't know was the man was there looking through the window staring at him.
