My Shining Star

The sky at night is beautiful when all stars are sparkling, and the beamy moon brightens on me. A little star will be my best friend!

I was watching the sky at night, the moon was full and yellow, all stars were very beautiful, I and my family were outside home, talking and watching the sky. "The sky is very beautiful, isn't it?" I said, smiling. "Yes, it is." Mum added.

After two hours everyone went inside the house but I didn't; I was watching the sky and saying: "What beautiful stars". "Thank you!" suddenly someone said. "Who is talking?" in a frightened voice I asked. "I'm your little star!" suddenly a star in the sky shined. I said amazedly "Wow, a little star talking? That's amazing!"."Yes, and I'll always talk, and you'll be my best friend!" the star said. "Really? I didn't have friends for a while, I was alone," I said in a sad tune. "Oh" the star grieved. "That's too bad, but I'm sure you'll have wonderful friends" the star said with a smiley face. I bucked up and looked to the star. "You're a very good friend" I said.

"You have to work it too, hang on and keep in touch. Friends are like good stuff!" said the star before shading away. "Where are you going?" I asked, "I'm going to sleep, and so will you."

I wanted to cry, but big smiles came from the stars near my friend star, and waved shapes appeared to me so close.

I waved back, and understood the advice.

Keep in touch, my friends.
