True love

I spent my whole life trying and wondering what true love means. I always saw that love was like heaven, everywhere I go I see two people are in love I say in my heart “love is amazing.“

I entered college, I spent the first month studying hard, you can say that I’m a control person. then I saw this man, my heart felt like I don’t really know but like paradise. at that moment my heart said “he‘s the one“ so I wanted to know who is this guy? how old he is?
he was 22 and I was 19. I kept this strong feeling in my heart. only god and me knew about this, I didn’t even tell my best friends. everyday I walked beside him and my heart was beating so fastlike bum bum bum.
i spent the first four months without even telling him how much i liked him, i just kept staring and looking whenever he walked by. but after four months we had our first conversation on 2013/4/25, when he talked to me i swear my heart was beating and my hands were shaking, i felt my legs were so weak. i talked to him with self trust. we got to know each other after 15 days or 16 days he told me how he felt on 2013/4/9. he said "zainab" i told "ya" he said i'm in love with a girl, she is so amazing, she is like a dream and if she says yes she will be reality." i told him "tell me who is this girl please." he said "i can't." so i told him "i'm in love with a man too, i had a strong feeling for him for four months and i still have this feeling." he said "tell me." after looking at each other, i looked at him and said "it's you." he said "and ya it's you." at that moment i knew we were in love. after spending two amazing months, we had our first fight he said that he wants to break up and that he made up his mind. i was broken. i told him, please, we love each other, why ?? he said that he doesn't want me to suffer any more cuz i have to wait for him for like 3 years untill we get married. yesterday i called him and i talked to him. we talked a little, he said, i loved you and i still do but we can't be together any more. i have hope that we will get back together. that's my story . do you think i should lose hope ??
