Captain Bill Barnes

Baby Bill Barnes was a very strong and big baby. He weighed as much as twelve buses at birth. One day, he surprised his mother when he came home carrying a big bad lion. He had killed it with his bare hands!

By the time Bill reached twenty, he impressed his classmates by carrying three of the playground equipment around the whole village! Bill was the strongest boy in history. Everyone enjoyed being around him too because he was very gentle and caring. Many people talked about him and said, “That Bill must have muscles made of steel!”

One afternoon, Bill was walking on the streets when he saw a poster hanging on the town bulletin. It read that the new summer camp had a tree stuck in front of the entrance! Bill ran there as fast as his long legs could carry him and helped the camp rangers get the tree out of the way.

When Bill got to the camp, he noticed some thing sticking out of one of the holes on the top of the tree. He climbed the tree and found out that there were many fruits and nuts stored and forgotten by squirrels. Bill had an idea. He took all the nuts and fruits and dried them in the sun. After that he seasoned them with salt and pepper, and… TADDA!!! All the town members gathered and received seven packs each of trail mix!
