A day to remember

There was just that feeling that Tommy thought that this was just not a normal day. He went to work. it was just the way that those around would look at him. It was as if they knew something that he did not know. There was a man waiting in Tommy`s office. Tommy made his way to his desk, the man did not get up or say a word. "Can I help you?" There was a long silence before the man even said a word. "You see I am your fathers lawyer and he past a few days ago. I was told that you did not talk to him. Beside that he has willed you his house in New Orleans. It has been in the family for many years and he stated that he wanted you to have it." That was all, the man did not say his name and just walked out with out a word.

It would be a good thing to get out of the office to see the house that his father had given him. It was something that Tommy did want to go to New Orleans. It would be the break that he had needed for a long time coming.

As he drove up to the house there was a woman that was there on the porch. Tommy did not know who she was, all he knew was that she was so beautiful. With long brown hair and those eyes Tommy could not stop looking at.

"So you are the new owner of this place, I wanted to see who was the one that got this house. There are some things that they most likely did not tell you of the history of this place. I was told that the slaves that the slave owner had he used some kind of voodoo on them."

They made their way into the house. Tommy just could not keep his eyes off of this woman. "I forgot to tell you who I am, my name is Brittany, I live across the street." Tommy did not say anything for a moment.

"I am sorry but I just can not keep my eyes off of you, you are just so beautiful. My name..."

"I know who you are, I thougth that you would of been some older guy."

Tommy did find the evidence that showed that the owner of this place did use voodoo on the slaves that he owned. Tommy was about to leave, there was just something about Brittany that he wanted to stay her in New Orleans. And that was what he did. he moved into the house, time went by and Tommy and Brittany became closer. Till one day they were married and Tommy knew this was where he belonged.
