When I died I never thought things would end the way they did, but I guess I should start from the beginning. My name was Allison Monroe. I was a senior in high school and I had the world at my finger-tips. I must admit my life had flaws, but it was pretty amazing. I had my best-friends: Hilary Bates and Aria Flood, we had been friends since Kindergarten! They were by my side no matter if it were my boy problems or my pointless drama. I knew they had my back. Through our countless heartbreaks we kept each other strong. When I met my boyfriend Tyler Payne, captain of the football team, they were so happy for me. They already had boyfriends, Hilary was dating Dillon and Aria was dating my brother Justin. I guess you could say I had my life together, besides going to parties and having a drink every now and then I didn’t have any bad habits. I was a cheerleader and I had straight A’s in all of my classes. When I woke up Wednesday morning I went through my normal routine. I took a shower, fixed my hair, brushed my teeth, and fixed my make-up. I ate breakfast, told my mother I loved her, and hurried out the door. I started my car and went to school. When I got to school Hilary and Aria were waiting for me in our normal spot along with Justin, Dillon, and Tyler. We talked for a while then Dillon told us about a party. It was on Friday and he wanted all of us to go with him, of course we all agreed. Aria, Hilary, and I walked to first period together; we had English that day. We sat in class passing notes talking about things that had happened yesterday. When the bell rang we gathered our things and we finished out the rest of the school day. At 3:00 P.M. we all met in our usual spot, by our cars in the parking lot. Once again we stood there talking, laughing, and fooling around. After I pulled out of the parking lot, I turned right heading to Burger King to pick up my normal after school snack, a burger and a small fry with a tea to drink. I ate on my way home. When I pulled into our driveway I turned off my car, grabbed my things, and went inside. My mother told me hello, we talked for a while then I went to my room, did my homework, and called Tyler. We talked for about two hours, then Aria called. we talked about the latest gossip and of course our boyfriends! When we got off the phone it was about 6:30 P.M. My mother called me downstairs to come and eat dinner; we had chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, and peas. When I got done eating I took a bath and went and laid down, I fell asleep. I had a dream that night. I was in the dark, I felt something sharp under me, and it felt like glass. Suddenly I woke up to the sound of my pounding alarm clock; it was 6:00 A.M. I once again went through my morning routine. Once again I started my car, pulled off, and went to school. Once again I met my friends in the parking lot. We talked and laughed, it was Thursday and we were all super stoked for the party on Friday! Hilary and Dillon were talking and she started to walk over to us. As she was walking she tripped over the pants leg of her jeans. The leg of her pants ripped and Hilary’s face turned red! Hilary, Aria, and I rushed off to the bathroom so that Hilary could change. Hilary changed and we walked back out to the parking lot to tell the boys good-bye, we then headed to class. We didn’t have the same class that day so we went our separate ways. While I was sitting in class that day I dozed off and the dream came again, this time I awoke to the teacher calling my name. After a few minutes I raised my hand and asked for the pass. When I got the pass I walked to the restroom and splashed water on my face. I remember thinking what the dream could mean while I was walking back to class. When I sat down in my seat the bell rang, I got my things and went to second period, second period went by super-fast and before I knew it, it was lunch time. I told the girls about my dream. They told me not to worry about it, so I brushed it off. I finished out the rest of the day and when I got home I went straight up stairs because my mother wasn’t home. My mother was off on a business trip so I invited Tyler over. When he got there we sat in my room and watched a movie. Tyler called his mom and said he was staying the night with Dillon. We finally fell asleep around 11:30 P.M... My alarm didn’t go off so we just decided to stay at my house until the party. It was finally Friday and I was so excited about the party later on. I texted Aria and told her to meet Tyler and me at my house after school. While we waited on Hilary, Aria, Justin, and Dillon. I decided to go ahead and pick out my party outfit. As I was looking through my closet I didn’t see anything that I wanted to wear. When I walked downstairs I saw a box lying on the kitchen table, and it had my name on it! When I opened it there was a beautiful dress and a pair of shoes. When I lifted them out of the box there was a note on the bottom of the box that read, “A beautiful outfit, for a beautiful young lady. I love you. Love, mom.” I remember how happy I was when I saw it. I ran upstairs and tried it on, and it looked amazing on me. I showed Tyler and he said it was beautiful. Then we heard car doors shut. It was Aria and the rest of “the gang”. Tyler went down to let them in while I changed; when I was done I followed him down. When I got down everyone was already inside. Hilary and Aria had their bags so we could get ready together. It was only 3:00 P.M. and the party didn’t start until 10:30 P.M. We had a lot of time to waste so we decided to watch a few movies, but before we knew it we all crashed on the couch. I had the dream again, this time I woke up sweating so I decided to go and take a shower. As I stood under the water I tried to think of what the dream could mean but I couldn’t think of anything! When I got out of the shower it was 9:30 P.M., time had flown! I went and woke everyone up so we could start getting ready for the party. Arias dress was beautiful. it was hot pink and navy blue with a white bow and Hilary wore a black skirt with a blue tank top with a black lace overshirt. Tyler, Dillon, and Justin wore T-shirts with ripped jeans. It was finally time to leave for the party! Aria, Tyler, and I rode together and Hilary and Dillon rode together. When we got to the party I parked and we got out. The music was blasting and everyone was dancing. I couldn’t wait to get in there and have a good time with everyone! I had three drinks, then me and the girls got on the dance floor and danced for a while. Then my friend Aaron brought me another drink, I drank it down and continued to dance. Before I knew it Tyler came and told me we needed to leave because the cops were on the way. I stumbled to the car and realized I left my keys on the counter by the keg stand. Tyler ran in and got them. I started the car and we set off down the road. Tyler and I were talking and I wasn’t paying attention. I drifted a little into the other lane and all I saw was bright light and then everything went dark and I felt glass all around me, just like my dream. As soon as I hit the other car I was killed and so was Tyler. We saw everything from the ambulance pulling up to the scene to my mother identifying my badly injured body. I had to turn my head when she broke down. Tyler’s mother also broke down. We held each other. They say there aren’t any tears in Heaven but I couldn’t hold these tears back. My mother went into my room, sat on my bed, and broke down. Once again Tyler held me. Our family and friends were heart-broken, especially my brother Justin, he visits my grave everyday along with Aria. Hilary has a hard time coping with the fact that i'm gone; I don’t think she will ever accept the fact that i'm no longer there. Although this seems like a tragedy, it actually has a happy ending. Tyler and I walked into eternity together and now we truly can be together for forever. I guess we put a new meaning to loving each other without end.
