Tom’s Quest
As golden sun shone blissfully in Greece, Tom, who loved helping others, dashed to the exquisite farm to produce some milk for his acquaintances. Tom was a joyful young boy who lived in the valley of Avantia with his family. He was caring and loyal to others as well as always doing the right thing.
One day Tom went to the field nearby to check on the loving animals he owned when he found that one of the animals were injured. However, Tom did not know that this eagle was no animal. This was Zeus testing Tom to see if he was truly pleasant.
Later that day Tom found out that the roaring beast, which was cursed by the gods, was out on the run and has just eaten their closest neighbors and was ready to gobble up his next alive feast.
Every 5 years the people of the town would become fearful of the fait that lied ahead. Many years ago the beast was a loving and kind protector until one day the beast had done wrong. The gods had become furious with the beast behavior and had cursed the beast. Now every 5 years the beast would be on the prow and eat every human in its path.
Because Tom had wanted to help his family he had set himself a quest which he had a short time to do so. He would have to defeat the beast and protect his family. The next morning Tom had set out and travelled to the cave which the beast had lived. It had already become dawn when tom had gotten extremely close to the beast’s home. Out of sight, Tom had set out a camp for where he would sleep for that night.
At sunrise Tom had awoken from his sleep and found that the beast was ready to battle. Tom had realized that there was a shiny green ring attached to the beast’s claw. That was the source of his evil. The predator had attempted to breathe fire on Tom but luckily he missed. Tom pounced on the beast’s back and grabbed its arm. Zeus had felt bad that Tom went through all this trouble just to help his family and had removed the curse from the beast. The battle was over and tom’s family were safe.
