Explore before Expire(Komilannaath) There is a man who is walking to the top of the hill. The first thing that strikes in our minds when we saw a person walking to the top of hill is suicide. Same goes to this story. This person decided to commit suicide. Once he reached to the top of the hill, he saw another person is standing there while looking at one of his family pictures. This person just ignores that man who is holding a picture and stands at another side of the hill. He is preparing himself to suicide. The man who is holding a picture feels that someone is there. So he turns and sees another person is preparing to suicide like himself. Now each of them knows that there is another person also going to suicide. Suicide is something people do with full of secrets. So they feel uncomfortable to continue their plan. They see each other and smile. Then they decide to put aside their plan and begin to communicate.

Suddenly a man came to that spot and said, “Excuse me gentlemen. My name is John. May I know your name?” The two people introduce their name. A person name is Alex and another person is David (the person who was holding a picture). John says, “What a pleasant surprise of gathering for three of us here.” Alex and David are getting more uncomfortable to continue their own plan. John starts his conversations.
John: Alex and David, hmmm... Can I know why you guys are here at this moment?
Alex: It’s personal.
John: Yeah of course suicide is personal, but it will become as a public talk when the media get to know it Alex. (John smiles)
Alex: How you know I planned to suicide?
John: My little guess Alex.
David: What you doing here John?
John: Hmmm.. I saw both of you are rushing to come here, so I just followed you guys. Hmmm.. Can I know the reasons you guys plan to suicide?
David: Hmmm.. I think its unnecessary John.
John: Come on guys, be frank with me. Every person needs someone to share their happiness and sadness in his or her life. Why not you guys share with me your sadness before proceeding to your plan.
Alex is thinking so deep whether to share his matter to John or not. But David says, “If it be so, let me open my heart to you.”
John: Yeah. Good. Smart person always will grab the opportunities. Go ahead David.
David: John, I am 36 and I have 3 daughters. My wife and I worked at same office. After few years we got children, I told my wife to stop working and start raising up our daughters properly at home. She agreed to me. Our life is moving very smoothly. But our life gets into trouble when I started to aim higher and higher in my life. We are just average income family. But I plan to be a very rich and luxury man. My salary is not enough for my family. So I started to do some side business. My businesses run in loss one after another. Of course to start a new business we need enough cash. So I lend some cash from many people in my place. Day by day my debts are increasing. My name is already blacklisted in my place. Many people start to attack me and my family because I cannot settle my debts from them. There are some people who warn me to kidnap my daughters and wife if I do not settle my debts very soon. After getting hit too much in my life I realize that I am in wrong track to achieve luxuries. Not even once my wife loses her trust on me. She always says “All is well”. She is the only motivator for me. One day I get to know that my family is going to be insulted by many people in my place because of my stupidity. I decided to bring my family and move away from my place to my friend’s house which is far from my place. My friend also is just an average wealth guy. I promised to my wife that I will not ask any single money from him. She hugs me and cries. After 3 days I get news that my house is burned by people there. I’m getting more worry about my family. Then I decide to leave my family at my friend’s house and suicide. I know somehow one day these people will kill my family. That’s the reason I planned to die before them because I cannot see them dying in front of me. No one is blessing us. And now I’m standing here. My only prayer to God is my wife and children are not lucky enough to live a smooth life, so at least give them a smooth death.

John: Hmmm.. Of course they will not die smoothly since they will know of your suicide David. There are many people in this world hunting for money like you. Some of them succeed and some fail and stop half way. Hmmm...

Alex how about you?
Alex feels so sad for David. Then he decided to share his part.
Alex: In my life, I have more money and enough peace. In wealthy wise I have no problem. Even though I’m very rich I have never been arrogant to anyone before. I am willing to help many poor people in my place. The first time I lost my peace is when I get to know my wife and I are not lucky enough to have children. My wife and I enjoy our life like anything. Day by day we forget that we have no children. Our togetherness and happiness engulf our sadness. Our life still goes smoothly until the day I feel myself wasteful. I have no habits of drinking alcohol. I will just give company for my friends. One day one of my friends forced me to drink. I try my level best to avoid it and finally I get drunk. The first time I get drunk in my life. The next morning I wake up with some hangover. I feel my body is aching. Then I am shocked after I realize I was sleeping with an unknown woman at an unknown place throughout the night. I wake up with her but she cannot wake up because she is also hungover. I cannot recall anything at that moment. The only thing I do at that moment is just get out from there. I came back home and fresh up myself. Then I just called my friends and ask what happen after I got drunk. Then my friend said that they had a surprise for me and wanted me to enjoy my night with another girl. This is what my friends usually will do after they get drunk. Before this they asked me to join with them but I had no single intention to sleep with another girl in my life. I got very angry to my friends and started to avoid them. Day by day I feel like I am breathing while looking at hell. I feel so depressed because I have cheated my wife. She loves me so much but I feel like I ditched her. I started to be alone and avoid from mingling with anyone even to my wife. After someday I fall in sick. I went to hospital to have medical checkup. Once the doctor got my medical report, he asks me to come alone to hospital immediately. The doctor says that I am infected with HIV. I feel my life is just ended like that. I begged the doctor not to tell this to my wife. Then I share everything that happened on that night to doctor. The doctor motivates me every day. I am looking more like hell in my life nowadays. I am getting stress more easily nowadays until one day I slapped my wife. I really regret that. One day I think if this world gets to know that I died because of HIV surely they will look down upon my wife. So I decide to suicide. And now I’m here which is too far from where my wife is.

John: Hmmm.. Alex. I feel appreciative to see you as a wonderful husband. You are being very truthful to your wife but somehow you get trapped. Both of you have your own flashback and purpose to suicide. Ok, my question to you both. What you going to do once I have left from here?
Alex: Suicide...
John: Are you very sure?
David: Yes of course.
John: Ok then.. How if we three play a game?
Alex: Are you crazy? Are we looking like a clown for you?
David: John please let us do what we want to do now. We've already got many hits in our life. Enough of it, John.
John: Guys calm down. Listen to me. It's just a small but meaningful task for you guys. You guys want to die very soon, but how about you guys wait to die until doing something good in your life.
David: What will we get if we do that?
John: Satisfaction. Die with full satisfaction. Will you?
Alex and David are thinking to agree or not. Finally they agreed.
John: Good. Remember smart person will always grab the opportunities.
Alex: First of all, tell us about you, John.
John: Guys, know about you first. Then you guys can know about me. Sorry if it sounds rude. (John smiles). Guys, the task is very simple. Each of you will have a different tasks and rules. I will whisper to each of you. You guys should not exchange or share your tasks and the rules to each other. You guys should complete the tasks by 3 days. The third day we three will meet up again here at 10am. Are you guys agreeing?
Alex: What the hell... John, you are a piece of junk. Hmmm.. Agree.
David: (shakes his head to symbolize agreement for the task).
First John whispers to Alex about the task and the rules and then to David.
John: Ok. You guys can start doing your tasks now. Remember my rules.
After receiving the task, Alex and David move full of angriness.
Rules for Alex and David: If both of them exchange their tasks and rules, John will reveal the secret of their suicide to their family and people around them.

Alex's Task:
Alex is now at David’s friend, Michael's house. Based on John, Alex must meet David’s wife, Sarah there. Michael is not allowing Alex to meet Sarah. Then Alex introduces as David’s friend and says that he is here to help them out. Sarah and Michael decide to have a conversation with Alex because they are worrying about David who lost was since 3 days ago. Alex enters the house and asks how things are going on now?
Sarah: May I know, where is David? I cannot be happy without seeing David. I want to see him now Alex. Please bring me to him. Where is he now? Why he is not coming to see me? Is he in any danger? Please be frank to me. Please help me. (Sarah cries)
Alex feels so sad looking at Sarah and the three children. He feels pity on Sarah who is living in another person's house with limiting her freedoms. Sarah is waiting for David.
Alex: Don’t worry Sarah. He is alright. I want to share with you something. Your husband, David, planned to suicide yesterday. I saw him and stopped him from suicide. Then I asked him the purpose, he shared with me everything. He said he knows somehow one day these people will kill his family. That’s the reason he planned to die before you and your children because he cannot see you guys die in front of him and no one is blessing his family. His only prayer to God is you and your children are not lucky enough to live a smooth life, so at least he wants to give you guys a smooth death.
After Sarah heard this, she starts to cry loudly and begging Alex to stop him from suicide.
Alex: Do not worry Sarah. He is in good condition now. He will be back here. You just wait for him. I will convince him and will make him to be with you forever. Trust me Sarah.
Sarah: Thank you Alex. Tell David that our life sure one day will be fine. Tell him I’m here for him always. I will take care of him. Ask him on behalf of me to be back to me. I will be waiting for him until my last breath here. Please Alex. Thank you Alex.
Alex: Sure Sarah. It's my responsibility to send him back. Trust me. Ok I think I’m done. I make a move now.
He is walking out of the house. Suddenly the eldest daughter runs to Alex and hugs him. He feels so excited and shocked. He motivates the children. Suddenly he has a plan.
Alex: Sarah, give me David’s bank account number. I will bank in enough cash for you guys. You guys settle your debts and start living a new life. God is always with you guys. But don’t ever misuse the money I banked in. Use it for proper usage only. Develop your family status. You guys do not need to pay me back this cash because if I had a sister who gets into this kind of trouble surely I will lend my hands. Take care of yourself and your children. Bye.
Sarah: I promise Alex, I will take care of my family nicely and this will be the last we ask for money from others. Thank you a lot Alex. I’m always grateful to you Alex. Bye.

David's Task:
David went to the hospital and meets a doctor, Dr. Raymond.
David: Dr, I am David. I need help from you.
Dr: Yeah, please enter David. How can I help you?
David: Dr, do you still remember Alex?
Dr: Yeah, I know him very well. Why? Is there any problem for him?
David: No Dr., Nothing is to be a worry. He shared with me all his problems. He asked me to help him by telling his wife, Christine, everything. So I need your help Dr.
Dr: Really? Hmmm.. Actually this is my patient’s secret medical issue, so I cannot just trust you and reveal the truth David. There are some rules and regulations. As a doctor I should keep my patients details carefully.
David: Hmmm.. Ok doctor I called Alex, and you asked him. He is not daring to be there when you are talking with his wife.
Dr: Ok. That’s a good idea.
During whispering, John has told David that the doctor will not proceed to the next step until he gets a permission from Alex. So give the doctor my hand phone number, John tells David.
Dr. Raymond calls to the number that is given by David. After talking, Dr. Raymond decides to proceed.
David: Dr, actually Friedel is the one who put Alex into trouble that night. I planned to make a police report about him and reveal to Christine about Friedel. But now I changed my mind. I will be going to the station tomorrow and won't be back here anymore, so instead of telling them Friedel is the culprit, why not use me as a culprit? Since Friedel will be living here forever and it won't be nice for Christine to know about Friedel. It will destroy their relationships. Yeah, Friedel is the culprit, but is there a chance Alex will fully recover from HIV if Friedel is caught by police? Of course not doctor. So we will just keep this as a secret.
Dr: Hmmm.. Ok. Lets go to Christine's house.

They reached at Christine's house.
Dr: Christine, please take your seat. Alex asked me to tell you something.
Doctor Raymond tells everything that happened for Alex on that night and shows David as the main person who put Alex into trouble. Christine starts to cry. She got angry and slaps David. Doctor is trying to avoid her but failed. She takes a vase and throws it towards him. His forehead is injured and bleeding. She asks David to get out from this house and don’t ever meet Alex anymore. David also starts to walk away from that house. Before he comes out, Christine curses David’s life and family. David feels so sad but happy to save the relationship between Friedel and Christine. David smiles and walks away.
Christine: Please doctor, please save him. He is the only person I have. Without him I cannot be alive here. I am waiting for him forever. He is an innocent man. Why does God always test the innocent? God always hurts the humble person. Please doctor, ask him back to me, I will take care of him nicely until my last breath. Please cure him doctor.
Dr: Don’t worry Christine. By using the current technologies I can extend his living period. The only thing I need is his cooperation. Try to convince him. Hmmm.. I think he will do it if you tell him Christine. Because he truly and sincerely loves you.

David meets Friedel and tells him everything that is going on in Christine's house just now.
Friedel: I’m so sorry David. I won't be repeating it again. I have a guilty conscience now David. Extremely sorry. Even though you forgave me, sure God is not going to forgive me.
David smiles and walks away. John whispered to David that to make a police report about Friedel and put him behind the bar but David took the blame and save Friedel.

THE THIRD DAY:
John, Alex and David meet again. Alex and David share everything. Both of them are shocked and thank each other.
John: Guys, I’m impressed to know that Alex banked in some cash for David’s family and David took the blame as the culprit for Alex's family. In fact this is not in our rules and regulations. Congrats guys. Hmmm.. now do you guys want to suicide?
Alex and David say no happily.
John: Haha.. Guys, always remember, in this life there is always someone who is having a bigger problem than us. Don’t always think the problem that we are facing now is the biggest problem in our life. Life is a combination of happiness and also sadness. Both must be balanced in our life, if not that’s not considered as life. You guys have the guts to suicide but have no guts to face your problems. Suicide is not the only method to solve problems. Do not be cowards and hide behind suicide guys. Be strong and live your life happily. The life which is being lived by you now is only once. So do not waste it. Always remember there are some people waiting for you guys at home. At least live for them and don’t ever be selfish. Enjoy your life guys. Start a new life guys.
Alex: Yes John. We realized our mistakes. Really thanks for helping us out.
David: Please forgive us for our mistake John. Thanks a lot John. We will always be grateful for you John.
Alex: John, we want to know who are you actually? Are you here to suicide also? (Alex smiles)
John: haha.. I have a story about me. I'll make it short and simple. I had only my mother. My father died when I was 3 years old. After that my mother never married again. She wanted to live fully for me. She worried that she would have to divide the love to me and my step father if she married again. Once I turned 24 years old, my mother started to nag me to marry. I planned not to marry because I also didn’t want to divide my love to my mother and wife. I also wanted to live fully for her. Both of us always argued for this matter but we both love each other very much. We always enjoy doing things together. I have a habit of drinking alcohol which my mother doesn’t like. She always scolds me but never ever reduces her loves towards me. One day my friends and I planned to go for clubbing. Before I left my house, my mom said please John don’t drink tonight at least for me. But I took it simple and got drunk. I was drunk and drove that night. Suddenly I hit a lady who was crossing the road. This accident happened in front of my aunt’s house. I got shocked and got down from my car to have a look to that lady... You guys know that the lady is my mom (John smiles and cries). She was coming back home after visiting my aunt. I brought her to the hospital but failed. She died on the way to hospital. After that I hate and stop drinking. I cannot be alone in my house without my mom. I can see some hallucination as though my mom is being with me always. I feel very happy to see my mom. But once I get to know that is just a hallucination, I feel like I want to die because it is damn painful. Finally I came here to suicide. Already 7 years past I leave this world. I feel like I want to save you guys, that's why I’m here. There are many people now, at this moment, trying to suicide. Some of them might be dead just 30 seconds before. We should realize that we have no rights to choose death time. When the time comes, we will go for it. Whatever it is, say no to suicide. I have no one with me to guide me when I suicide, but you guys got me. Hmmm.. Happy New Life guys.. bye...

John just disappeared from there. Alex and David were shocked after they got to know about John. They decide not to repeat the same mistakes and start to live a happy life. They really have gratitude to John and always pray for his soul to rest in peace.
