I Miss My Daddy

Daddy left yesterday, and he said he would be back soon to play with me again. He told me he was leaving for a deployment and he was going to be back in 6 months.

My Daddy calls me everyday and he tells me he is making our country a better place by defending our freedom. I can't wait to see my Daddy, it's been 3 months since he left. I miss him dearly and I love him so much.

I love to wrestle with him, play hide and seek, ride our bicycles and watch movies. Daddy is my best friend. I think of him every day and he tells me he thinks of me too. I love writing letters to my Daddy. I will draw something special for him today!

I drew a picture of my family, Daddy is holding my hand and I feel so happy to know he is my best buddy! I will mail him a letter today and send him my picture, hope it makes him happy.

My Daddy called me today and said he received my letter! He told me he was so happy to see my drawing, he said he will be back home soon. He said he was going to give me a really big hug when he gets back!

It's been six months since my Daddy left, I hope to see him any day now. I can't wait to tell him how much I've missed him; I can't wait!

I was in school today and feeling sad. Where is my Dad? After school today I had a big surprise! Daddy came to pick me up from school. My best buddy is back!!!

I jumped up to his arms and gave my dad a really big hug; it felt so good. I feel so happy he's back; he is my best friend. I can't wait to tell everyone my Daddy is home.
