Gone

John was a person that did not let many people close to him. It was just that he had been hurt so many times before. That he just did not want to feel that pain any more. There was this new girl at the office that he fell for when he saw her. She was to be the new boss of the place, the other was fired. There was just something that told him that he would get hurt just like the other times. He did not care, there was just something about Erin that he knew that there was something that he wanted to know her better. They got to talking and really hit it off. It was that John could talk with Erin about anything. He told her that he had feelings for her. he was waiting for the line about being friends. To his surprise she told him that she was in love with him from the first time that she saw John. It was something that John had not felt in a long time, that was joy. That he had found that one that he could love with all of his heart. There was that Erin was his boss but that did not bother him for he knew how to keep things separate.

It was he first time in his life that things were going well in his life. He knew without a doubt that Erin was the one for him, that his love for her would always be strong. The one thing was that a few days back John was thinking about leaving his job. For there were people that he had dated that he had to work with. Now it did not matter for he had someone that he could love and that was the joy that he needed in his life.
