Child's Play(akirachan20) CHAPTER 1: Another Home

"Hey Sucy, guess what. You will have your new family.
Won't you say hi to them?" Mrs. Navarro beckoned Sucy
to come to her side.

Sucy walked slowly to Mrs. Navarro's direction, with her
head down counting each steps she's taking. She's
holding her doll she received from Mrs. Corrina Fillman
and her husband Mr. Nelson Fillman, her previous foster
parents. They were her second family since she became
orphan at the age of 8 and the foster home took her.
There's a smile in the visitors' faces when they saw
Sucy.

"Hello Ma'am. Hello Sir. Are you going to be taking care
of me from now on?" Sucy spoke still her head down.

The visitors' were surprised not only by the question of
Sucy but also on how calm and gentle she is. Sucy was
a beautiful girl and quiet, speaks only when asked. Mrs.
Navarro was pleased on what Sucy was showing to her
new foster parents. There's never been a problem for the
couples who were deciding to have Sucy and take care
of her.

"Yes my dear. We'll be taking care of you from now on."
The woman spoke, she was bended forward, her hands
on her knees to support her upper body weight.

Mrs. Navarro put her hand on Sucy's shoulder and said,
"Sucy, she's Mrs. Oda Lennox and her husband Mr.
Ivan."
Still Sucy didn't look up to see who will be adopting
her. She only nods her head. Everything had been
processed and prepared, the documents were secured
for legal basis. And Mrs. Navarro helped Sucy fold and
arrange her clothes on the bag she'll bring with her. Mr.
and Mrs. Lennox were fine waiting for Sucy because
finally they will have a child they can treat as their own.

Sucy's new family was always busy compare to the first
two she had. The house was big and spacious. She had
her own room complete with all the things she needed.
The couple worked in their own law firm and they can't
have much time to be with Sucy as if their home is their
work, especially they always had business trips and
dealing with many clients. That's why they never had a
child and just decided to adopt which is Sucy. But that
was not a problem for Sucy, she can take care of herself.
She was a 10 year old little girl. Her only company was a
55 year old Lourdes, the maid in the house. Everyday
she went to school at 8am and came home at 5pm. She
would eat her dinner, study her lesson then goes to bed.
That's her everyday routine. Lourdes was fun of her
because she's such a charming and timid girl. Who
could not be pleased by her? rather be deceived by her...

It's been almost three months after Sucy's been adopted
for the third time. And she is only praying for that time...

When Mr. and Mrs. Lennox would come home again...



CHAPTER 2: Let the Play Begin

Friday night after a long day at school, Sucy just want to
sleep already. While Lourdes was cooking for the dinner,
the phone rang. Sucy got up from her bed and told
Lourdes that she'll be the one to answer the phone. On
the other line answer a very tired voice of Mrs. Lennox,
"Sucy, is that you. It's very good to hear you honey.
We're so sorry, you know, me and your daddy can't
catch up with you. But don't worry we're planning to
have vacation just to be with you Sucy. Now we can't
wait to come home tonight."

Mrs. Lennox finished what she want to say and wait for
Sucy to speak. A minute passed before Sucy replied, "Ok
mommy, I just can't wait to see you and daddy too." Her
voice and words were calm, no hint of surprise. But
she's actually surprised and happy inside. After long
time, she can play again.

Mrs. Lennox spoke again, "O-k, uhmm how's your
school by the way?"

"The school is fine. I've been friends with my
classmates." Sucy replied blankly.

"Not just that. We've known you're very good at school,
Lourdes said because she have seen your papers in your
tests, your classmates and your teachers told her too.
We are very proud of you honey. You just deserve a
reward. What do you think?" The joy and excitement
mixed in Mrs. Lennox voice can't be hidden.

"oh, Lourdes told you. I don't know mommy but you're
really proud of me?" Sucy said because she couldn't
pick the words to cover what she really wanted to say.
She only needed to respond appropriately.

"Absolutely honey. I'm asking you what would you like
us to give you?"

Sucy wants to bring down the phone because she can't
take talking longer to her 'loving mommy'. "Mommy I
want you to come home already and I'll tell you what I
want."

"Alright honey, but please don't stay up late and wait for
us. We'll have a lot of time to be together. Ok?"

Finally... "Ok mom, (I'll wait for you). Bye."

"Bye honey, we love you."

"I love you too mom and dad."

Finally the talk was over. Now where to begin... Sucy
muttered to herself.

Sucy went to the kitchen and saw the dinner was served
already.

Lourdes was at the sink, just done washing her hands
and turned around to see Sucy standing on the
doorway. "Hey there Sucy, you surely had missed them.
That's a long conversation there. Come here and let's
eat."

"Yes of course Lourdes, I want to eat your food." Sucy
said smiling, maybe.

They both took a seat, prayed together and ate. Moment
later, Sucy suddenly stood up and said, "Sorry Lourdes, I
forgot something. Would you excuse me to go and get
it."

"Sure thing my dear. That maybe is really important."
Without any words, Sucy leave the table to get that
important thing.

About six minutes passed, Lourdes thought Sucy was
taking long time to what she could be doing or getting.
So she decided to see Sucy. She went to her room but
she's not there. She started calling her name but no
response. She's wondering now where Sucy went. She
went back to the kitchen and almost jump seeing Sucy
eating her food. She asked her, "Where did you go? I
went looking for you because I thought... uhm well, did
you get what you're looking for?" She slowly walked
back to her sit waiting for Sucy's response. But it
looked like Sucy haven't notice her presence yet, even
pay to answer her question because Sucy's focus was
on her food.

While Lourdes took her sit, Sucy again made her startle
when Sucy look up to her and said, "Yes Lourdes, I have
already what I'm looking for."

Sucy was smiling and Lourdes asked curiously, "Really?
Ahh can I see what it is?"

"Of course Lourdes. But first, close your eyes." Sucy told
Lourdes and then hold tightly the thing in her right
hand.

As Sucy approach Lourdes' seat, Lourdes spoke, "You
know Sucy, you're good in surprising other people. But
please next time, don't try it on me. I'm old enough. I
could get heart attack on you." There was humor in
Lourdes' high tuned voice.

Lourdes didn't get a reply immediately and she could
only hear the footsteps made by Sucy.

"Sucy, I asked you don't make me nervous anymore, can
I expect that from you?"

"Yes Lourdes...

... and this would be the last."

Lourdes opened her eyes and felt her heart almost jump
out of her chest when she heard Sucy spoke just at her
right side and felt a sharp thing on her neck. She
whipped her head to the side and faced Sucy looking
right at her, Sucy's neck jerk to the left and creeping in
her lips an evil grin. Her blue eyes looks shadowy and
darker, and you couldn't see the calm and gentle Sucy
in there anymore. Without even a chance to speak or
scream given to Lourdes, Sucy slitted her throat and the
blood squirted making the table now looked inviting for
blood sucking creatures.

There was mask of horror in Lourdes' face as her blood
was being drained. She put her hand on her neck
instantly and trying to stop the bleeding. The cut was
deep and she's gagging and depriving for air. The two
combined with blood loss will surely end her life. She's
thinking why and how could Sucy do such thing?
The wicked smile in Sucy's face and the satisfaction
shown in her eyes couldn't be concealed. She's wanting
more.... toys.

Sucy turned the chair to where Lourdes was sitting and
grabbed Lourdes' hand that holds her bleeding neck.
The blood was messing now Sucy's white dress. But she
likes it! The color of red like painting in her dress. Sucy
talked to Lourdes, "See this Lourdes, the thing I got for
you." Sucy said as she dangled the knife in front of
Lourdes face.

"But actually, you're not the only one who saw this. You
like me Lourdes, right?" Lourdes couldn't understand
what Sucy was saying. Even her sight was now blurring,
and the last thing she saw was Sucy's face and the knife
she used on her.

"I like you too Lourdes..."

Sucy watched as life was leaving Lourdes body, she
couldn't stop smiling. In a matter of few minutes,
Lourdes limp body fall down in her own pool of blood.


It's already 8:47pm, Mr. and Mrs. Lennox will be coming
home for the next hours. Sucy just need to clean now
the mess of her toy. She would make sure no one would
stop her. Sure they can't...

Sucy was in her room and her clock points to 10:05pm.
It's getting late, she couldn't think anything to do so
not to get bored waiting for her foster parents. Maybe I
can choose what to wear later. Sucy told herself.

Just as Sucy was looking for her type of dress she
would wear later, she heard the front door downstairs
opened even though she's on the second floor and her
room door is closed. She do have sharp ear. She listened
to them and she heard Mrs. Lennox said, "It's just so
good to be home." Mr. Lennox also spoke, "As you said,
I do missed Sucy. I'll go check her on her room."

Sucy immediately fixed herself and laid on her bed to
act asleep.

Mr. Lennox went upstairs to Sucy's room and saw her
sleeping. He stared at her, came to the side bed and
spoke low, "We love you Sucy. We promised to alot more
time for us to be together." Then he kissed Sucy in the
head and leave.

As usual, Sucy was awake so she heard what Mr. Lennox
said.

She won't sleep, not yet.



CHAPTER 3: Finale!

Mr. and Mrs. Lennox were exhausted from work and
travel. They just needed to get sleep already and be
ready for tomorrow, they can be with Sucy again after
more than two weeks of out of the country business trip.
Mr. Lennox was lying on the bed already, but for Mrs.
Lennox, her throat felt dry. She went downstairs to the
kitchen to drink water. Then she suddenly stopped and
got nervous when she saw someone standing on the
dark corner.

"Hey, who's in there?" Mrs Lennox spoke, trying not to
sound afraid.

"Mommy, it's me." Sucy stepped out of the corner, the
moonlight hits her pale face and reflected her black hair.

"What are you doing there? Are you sleepwalking?" Mrs.
Lennox asked, her nervousness slowly faded now
changed by confusedness.

"Playing hide and seek..." Sucy said and went to and
hugged Mrs. Lennox.

"I wanna play mommy please please." Sucy requested in
her very sweet voice, looking up to Mrs. Lennox.

Mrs. Lennox replied, "Sucy look what time is it already.
You should be sleeping and us your daddy too.
Tomorrow we'll have a lot of time to play. Is that ok?"

Mrs. Lennox then saw Sucy looks as if she just lost her
favorite doll. "Ok honey, just once only and fast,
alright?" Mrs. Lennox agreed shortly to the request of
Sucy, her expression, no one can't bear seeing.

"Alright mommy, I'm so happy." Sucy jumped backward.

"Remember mommy when you asked me on the phone
what I want."

"Yes I asked you that and you didn't tell me. You said
you'll tell me when we came. So what is it honey?" Mrs.
Lennox asked.

"I wanna play mommy." Sucy said delightfully. She's
smiling from ear to ear.

"Ha, you really mean that? You know you may ask other
things." Confused Mrs. Lennox told Sucy.

"No mommy, that's want I really want from you and
daddy." Sucy said.

"Ok, you're serious, I understand. So what do you want
us to play." Mrs. Lennox asked.

"Hide and seek. You're the one to find me mommy."

"Alright, you need to hide now. I'll count to ten then I'll
find you."

"You're right mommy. Close your eyes already and
turned around ten times." Sucy instructed Mrs. Lennox
and started to run.

"Ok, I closed now my eyes. One, two, three,..." Mrs.
Lennox announced as she also turned around where she
stood.

Sucy went behind the door going down to the cellar to
hide. She could still hear Mrs. Lennox counting...seven,
eight, nine, ten. She listened carefully to the coming of
Mrs. Lennox. She slowly stepped backward and there
was a creak produced by the wooden floor under her
feet. Sucy thought Mrs. Lennox could have heard that.
And she wasn't wrong because after not less than a
minute she heard the doorknob being turned and slowly
opened, a ray of dim light peeked through it. Sucy got a
little nervous but also excited. Mrs. Lennox stepped
inside and turned on the light, and she scanned the
area. As soon as Mrs. Lennox's eyes landed on Sucy,
seeing she's holding a knife, Sucy moved forward and
stabbed Mrs. Lennox on the stomach. Mrs. Lennox
automatically held and pressed her stomach to stop the
bleeding. She looked up to see Sucy grinning and closed
the door. She would asked Sucy why but was not given
any chance to speak because Sucy pushed her and Mrs.
Lennox fell and rolled down the stairs. That would hurt a
lot for sure.

When Mrs. Lennox was already at the bottom, Sucy
walked down the cellar avoiding the blood on the stairs.
This basement looked like unvisited and untouched for
years because every time she stepped on the wooden
stairs, they would creak unpleasantly adding more
suspense to now terrified Mrs. Oda Lennox who tried to
stand up but failed because she thought she just got
broken bones on her right leg and the excruciating pain
on her stomach won't let her too. So she just crawled
backward while looking at Sucy, she didn't know what
to do. Her mind worked fast and told her to scream so
she did. Mrs. Lennox screamed so loud to wake her
husband but luck was not for her and she heard Sucy
laughed.

"Woah mommy what are you trying to do? Daddy won't
wake up." Sucy's laughing face turned serious. "But I
will wake him up for you."

Mrs. Lennox being afraid was now feeling anger and
bitterness. She shouted and told Sucy, "How dare you
insolent child? Don't ever call me mommy again, how
can you do this to me. We, we treat you as our own
daughter. How dare you?"

"I'm not obliged to answer your question mooommyyy."
Sucy intended to insult more her mocked foster mother.
She's just another one and like my previous foster
parents, she thought to herself.

Then Sucy got a dusty chair and brought up the
struggling Mrs. Lennox to sit there. Then she tied her
wrists at the back and her feet to each front legs of the
chair. And finally put masking tape on Mrs. Lennox's
mouth before she leave her and went up to wake her
foster father, Mr. Ivan Lennox.

"Daddy, daddy wake up!" Sucy swayed vigorously Mr.
Lennox.

Mr. Lennox peeked open his right eye and asked Sucy,
"Ah what is it? Why are you..."

Sucy stopped Mr. Lennox from finishing his question
and said, "Daddy, come. Mommy is injured badly." Sucy
uttered truthfully but partially because she wouldn't tell
Mr. Lennox who caused it to Mrs. Lennox.

Mr. Lennox was fully awakened when he heard what
Sucy said and immediately went downstairs. Alerted Mr.
Lennox looking for her wife, didn't know where she was
and asked Sucy, "Sucy, where is your mommy?"

Mr. Lennox was at the kitchen and as soon as he turned
around, he almost stumbled backward when he saw
Sucy standing in front of him and said, "Mommy is at
the basement."

Mr. Lennox was now suspicious. Why his wife would be
at the cellar. He wanted to asked Sucy if some intruder
got inside the house, instead he went straightway to the
cellar and Sucy followed him. Once Mr. Lennox was at
the basement door, he turned on the light and saw Mrs.
Lennox downstairs tied up. "Oda, wha.. what happened?
who did that to you?" Mr. Lennox shouted to his wife
who of course couldn't speak with her mouth taped. As
a reply, Mr. Lennox saw his wife's eyes got wide, looked
almost they could get out of their socket. Mr. Lennox
interpreted Mrs. Lennox reaction as maybe the person
who did that to his wife was at his back. When he
swung around he only saw Sucy and no one else. He
looked back again to Mrs. Lennox still her face
expression didn't change. But Sucy of course made her
move and bent to slash Mr. Lennox's Achilles' tendon
on both his legs. Mr. Lennox shrieked and lose his
balance and his blood that splatter on the floor caused
him to slide and rolled down the stairs. Aside from
severe pain on his legs he still got another one when
his left leg got trapped in between rails of the stairs and
eventually was fractured to undesirable angle. Mr.
Lennox screamed more and more as Mrs. Lennox
couldn't take watching his husband in extreme agony
and attempted to move the chair she's tied up to go
near Mr. Lennox. As for Sucy, she was hyperventilating
out of pleasure and exhaled loudly before walking to
where Mr. Lennox was. The blood-spilled stairs made
her held tightly onto the side rails and when she was
already standing above Mr. Lennox, she kicked his
broken leg and you could already see the bone
protruding on the skin and bleeding profusely.

Mr. Lennox cursed in between his breath. "Oh God,
please stop it." He was sweating hard and crying
already.

Eventually, Mr. Lennox got to the bottom then Sucy
dragged him inconsiderately by his fractured left leg.
She tied him also by the post opposite Mrs. Lennox who
was now faced down the floor when she tried to get
near her husband. Sucy raised her up and left them
hopelessly crying in pain.


It was already 3:22am, Sucy went to her room to change
her clothes again. She chose to wear the dress given to
her by her foster parents. A black dress that
complimented her pale skin and petite body.

Sucy came down to the basement and closed the door
to make sure no one would hear her toys' scream. She
alerted them to focus their attention on her.

"Look mommy, daddy. Isn't it lovely!" Sucy swung
around gracefully.

"Thank you so much mommy, daddy for everything, for
loving me." Sucy told Mr. and Mrs. Lennox.

There's a questioning look in both faces of Mr. and Mrs.
Lennox. They didn't know what Sucy wanted, what Sucy
wants to imply.

Sucy walked slowly to now pallid Mr. Lennox while she
kept both her hands at the back. When she got near him
she squatted down to look closely at his face and said,
"I do believe you daddy that you love me and I love you
too. I hope you believe in me daddy."

Mr. Lennox didn't know what to say. He actually didn't
believe what Sucy said. On the other hand Mrs. Lennox
tried to talk but only muffled but still got the attention of
Sucy. Sucy then came to her and removed the tape on
her mouth. Mrs. Lennox gasped for air as soon as tape
was removed and calmed herself to not be driven by her
anger towards Sucy and asked her, "Ahh Sucy honey, of
course we love you. B-but.. but why are you doing this
to us?"

Mrs. Lennox wanted to know the reason of Sucy but she
only gave her a surprise. Sucy stabbed her again in the
stomach now twice and moved down and sideward the
knife on Mrs. Lennox stomach making the wound open
and its content to leak out. Mrs. Lennox just couldn't
bear the pain anymore and cried so loud that it could
actually destroy anyone's eardrum. Sucy's beautiful
dress was again stained by blood, but she didn't mind it
and continue to stab Mrs. Lennox repeatedly in all parts
of the body, chest, thighs, shoulders, face and both her
eyes. Mr. Lennox couldn't believe all what he was
seeing, Sucy killing brutally his wife in front of him, he
could only say no for Sucy to stop but do nothing to
help his wife. It was like a rainfall of blood and
everything was becoming red.

After Sucy was done with Mrs. Lennox body, he went to
Mr. Lennox to finish what she started. Before everything
ends for Mr. Lennox, he told Sucy, "Remember and never
forget that we loved you Sucy. I don't know what
pushed you to do something unimaginable like this but I
hope, you'll come to realize that everything can be..."
Sucy didn't let Mr. Lennox to finished what he was
saying because she stabbed him on the left side neck,
the point of the knife could be seen on the other side.
Mr. Lennox was tearing, dread and regrets masked his
face. Sucy leave the knife on Mr. Lennox neck.

Sucy then wailed unstoppably and flashed back her
memories.


Sucy and her mother just came home from her school
tour. They found her dad watching television. Her
mother went upstairs bringing her bag and she to the
kitchen and prepared snack for herself. After she just
finished making her snack she decided to eat in the
living room. She's holding her food on tray when her
mother came rushing and didn't mind banging her and
caused the food to be thrown. Her mother passed by
her, and started looking for something. Sucy was
picking up the mess and got nervous when she saw a
knife on her mother's hand. Her mother went to the
living room and Sucy left what she was doing and
followed her mother. She saw then her mother stabbing
her father on the chest. Sucy held her mouth closed and
was shocked for what she was seeing. Her mother
looked to her direction and asked her to come. Sucy
walked her legs trembling. When she came her mother
side, her mother explained what she did, that she love
her father so much and did it for the two of them but
didn't say the true reason why, that her father betrayed
them. Her mother was then in panic attack, she put
down the knife on the coffee table and walked back and
forth. Young Sucy had her own interpretation of what
her mother told her and everything she witnessed. She
took the knife and came to her mother and stabbed her
at the back. Her mother fell forward kneeling and hands
on the floor. She turned to face Sucy telling her to stop
but Sucy seem to hear and see everything now unclear,
and not listening to her mother's plea. She stabbed her
mother on the chest while uttering the words 'I love you
mommy'. Before her mother died, she was able to
response and told Sucy 'I love you'.

There were tears colored with blood falling down Sucy's
eyes. She heard then her father gasping for air and she
came in front of him and said 'Why daddy? You know
mommy and I love you' and stabbed his father on the
neck.


In the morning, Sucy covered in blood ran across the
streets asking for help. The people came to her aid, the
police and ambulance followed. The dead bodies of Mr.
and Mrs. Lennox was brought out of the house placed in
bags. One police officer tried to asked her questions but
she won't speak. And she was brought again to the
foster home in shocked state and didn't speak to anyone
until one family would come and take her.
