I'm gone.

I'm gone.

I'm Layla, 14 years old, this is my story which leads to my big event! I get bullied, don't know why, just do, it's mainly the girls, but surprising thing is it's the boys too!

I get pushed, shoved, teased, and I haven't done anything wrong! I don't understand, i have done nothing to them. It has been going on for just over 3 years and i have had enough. I can't tell my parents either.
Okay here goes, I have written a letter to Mum, Dad, and my sister Amy saying it's not their fault and I love them, I haven't said why though.

After I finish writing and get ready... That is when I pull the rope! It's all over now, no more crying myself to sleep each night, no more pain. It's weird, now i'm a ghost, I can't feel anything. My sister has just arrived back from school and is walking up to my room "Layla, Layla are you there?" She calls. She opens my bedroom door and screams and she fumbles for her phone. Mum and Dad quickly arrive home from the terrifying phone call. They open the door. Mum falls to the ground, Dads heads is in his hands, Amy still can't get to grips with what's happened! They all just stand there.

Seconds, minutes, hours go by, not a single movement. Mum slowly walks over to my hanging body and finds the letter, reading it in her head she drops it and runs, not letting anyone get in her way, right through town up to the police station. Her face red as anything, tears still streaming down her soft pale face. "Can I help?" The officer asks. Mum collapses onto the floor. She cries harder than ever. that's when she goes to grab the officers gun. Just as she was about to pull the trigger Dad and Amy run in "NOOO!" they both scream.

They sit down and say everything to the officer. He also looks on breaking point, like any minute he will burst into tears, but he excuses himself.

The school now knows, I wonder how they will tell everyone? No-one can see me so I go into my class. Typical, I'm not in it so my seat has been filled. "Oh look Layla's not in again, hope she never comes back!" Stacy the main bully said... everyone laughed.

"Quiet down class, I have some devastating news," Ms Jones said. "Well as you know Layla hasn't been in for a few weeks now and well... she has sadly died, she committed suicide!" Ms Jones calmly said.

The class sat still, no sounds, no movement. "Now do you wish Layla never came back!?" Sophia whispered harshly into Stacy's ear. I couldn't stand it, everyone there sat crying making speeches about me. I hate it, people only start to notice you once your dead!

I go back to the house and see my room has still not been touched, everything is as it was except the body has been taken away.

I didn't know what to do, my parents haven't returned to work and Amy still isn't in school. They all sat on the sofa, talking about my funeral. "Let her wear these, it's my pearl necklace, she was always wanting to borrow it," Amy quietly said. I had the best older sister in the world! "That would be lovely darling, and play True Colors by Cyndi Lauper, she was always listening to it." They had all made plans and arrangements for the day. Haha I was going to attend my own funeral...well... so I thought.

Just before it was about to start I felt an itching on my back and when I went to scratch it a white feather came out. I had wings. I was an angel! Slowly floating up towards heaven. A real life angel... I was an angel!
