The radiance of the moonlight faded between the gathering clouds. Thunder GROWLED! Hastily, Zelda scurried behind a tree. The wind shrieked and howled through the rigid, naked branches. Zelda crouched with a monstrous fear. Silence roared...
A thrumming panic clawed at her heart as she caught a glimpse of a vague shape hugging close to the shadows. The creature approached her, its shadow looming, casting a fear... Of what? She did not know. Zelda tensed herself, her fur prickling in the eerie, clasping cold breeze.
Closer and closer it came, power surging through each of its steps. The thought of escaping plagued her mind. Not being able to bear it any longer, Zelda rapidly dashed out. She ran breathlessly, hoping it could not smell her fear and hunt her down. Abruptly, Zelda stopped and collected her strength, her chest heaving with weakness. Suddenly (out of the blue) the creature pounced up and pierced its razor sharp claws through her chest. Zelda knew this was the end. It had followed her... and finally to death. Both Zelda’s heart, mind and body screeched and it was a sound that tore the night apart, but it was a sound that only Zelda could hear. The radiance of the moonlight faded between the gathering clouds. Thunder GROWLED! Hastily, Zelda scurried behind a tree. The wind shrieked and howled through the rigid, naked branches. Zelda crouched with a monstrous fear. Silence roared...
