How to solve a problem with a good fight.

I used to have problems at school ever since being in kindergarten but none of them were as bad as having problems in Grade 6 & 7. It all started at the first day of school as the daughter of the famous science teacher coming in. We became friends; I left for three months in order to do a pilgrimage. Then my problem started. Any way, now I hate her like ever, she tried to separate my best friend and me. Now the only name which I like to call her is… (No it’s personal). Anyway to make it easy I will call her with the name Sasha.

I was just very glad when she left in Grade 7. Instead a new girl came and replaced her. I will call her with the name Chloe. So Chloe replaced Sasha in a sense of fighting. We were friends for two or three weeks. She was kind, gentle and all the nice things you can say. Then slowly her true self became to come out. We later found out she was telling means things behind our back. We ignored her and stopped being friends immediately. Did she stop saying mean things about us? No she did not!

We did not pay attention to her for about a month until… we just passed by her when suddenly she said facing to us, “do you know that those girls over there have no manners and that I think that their parents have taught them no manners. Their parents are nothing but silly people to have not taught them anything”.

Now there she said it, so I gave all what I was carrying to the girls beside me and marched right to Chloe’s face and here was what I said, “HOW DARE YOU SAY SUCH THINGS ABOUT OUR PARENTS? WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? IF YOU THINK YOU ARE A PRINCESS, NO YOU ARE WRONG BECAUSE YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A WITCH WITH SUCH A BAD HABIT. IF YOU CAN SAY SUCH MEAN THINGS ABOUT MY PARENTS THEN I WILL SAY MEAN THINGS ABOUT YOURS. DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR PARENTS ARE? THEY ARE FOOLS, AND DO YOU KNOW WHY I SAID THAT? I SAID THAT BECAUSE THEY HAVEN'T TAUGHT YOU HOW TO BEHAVE WITH YOUR FRIENDS, NEVER BACKBITE BEHIND SOMEONES BACK, ALWAYS SAY THE TRUTH NO MATTER WHAT… NO I DON’T THINK SO. I MAY ACCEPT ANY MEAN THINGS THAT YOU HAVE SAID TO ME BUT ANY MEAN THINGS ABOUT MY PARENTS YOU MAY FORGET TO EVEN SAY SORRY. IF ANY WORD AGAINST MY PARENTS IS SAID EVER AGAIN YOU WILL REGRET THAT YOU EVEN SAID THOSE THINGS. UNDERSTAND!”

By saying those things I walked away and the great thing was she never said any mean things about our parents or us ever again. She still is in my school and my best friend is now in another school but we still contact each other. In my school I was known as The Sensitive Girl apart but now I am known as The Girl Who Is Brave. Apart from that now everyone knows if you say a word against me I will ignore it, however any word against my family you will regret that you ever said that.
