Thomas(Zachary) That poor child sitting in the bathroom shivering and trembling in fear. Coward in a corner not knowing if he would ever be taken to safety. Then terrible demonic images flashed in his head of himself in demonic forms. Then at the terrible climax of the nightmare he woke up sweating in his bed. Out of breath he walked to the bathroom and splashed water into his face but when he came back up and looked in the mirror he saw himself as once again a demonic form. He screamed in terror as he looked at this beast and then wakes up once again in his bed realizing it was all a nightmare. Later that morning when Thomas finally fell asleep his brother Brendan came in and started jumping on his bed and screaming. Then when Thomas sat up Brendan slapped him and ran out of the room. The whole time the affair was going on Brendan and Thomas's father was screaming out rude and crude comments towards Thomas. This happened every morning so Thomas was basically used to it but that didn't mean it felt good. He got up from his bed and walked out of his room and down the stairs. Brendan was dressed for school and Thomas's father wasn't around. Brendan walked out the front door and Thomas began grabbing the mop and broom out of the closet. He walked into the kitchen and turned on the sink to fill it with water when suddenly he heard the front door slam. He went to the front window and saw that his fathers's car was gone leaving him without good for the day. He didn't go to school like Brendan because in Thomas's fathers words "public school was something a bastard reject son like Thomas didn't deserve". So instead Thomas's father had him stay home and do constant chores. As Thomas did his chores he usually reflected on how he would one day escape and get revenge on the family that scorned him. But always came to the conclusion that they would win. When he was finished he went to his room and passed out not knowing he forgot to do the dishes... His brother Brendan came home and found the dishes not done and Thomas passed out. When their father got home Brendan was very speedy to point it out. Thomas's father was furious. He sent Brendan into Thomas's room to "punish him". Brendan went into the room and locked the door. Without waking Thomas he pulled out a pillowcase full of rocks and began beating Thomas brutally. Thomas screamed and begged for his brother to stop but all his brother did was swing harder. When Brendan thought Thomas had been punished enough he left Thomas laying on the floor coughing and gasping for breath and all Thomas heard was his father scream "Next time you'll finish the chores I give you"! Thomas just cited as he sat in pain he managed to struggle up to his bed and when he did all he could do was stare at the ceiling and dwell on the abuse done by his family. He laid there for hours and then suddenly heard his father come up from the basement which Thomas knew couldn't be good. He heard his father screaming out his name and breaking things. Thomas jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom and hid under the sink. Before long Thomas fell asleep. Later that night when Thomas finally woke up he went to leave the bathroom but the door was now locked from the outside. He struggled with the door knob pulling and tugging but it was no use. Finally when Thomas got angry he slammed his fists on the door and the door shook and crept open. Outside the door the chair blocking him inside was now down the hall. He marveled over what had happened. Did he do that and if he did how could he harness this gift. To make sure of his "powers" he constructed three tests. The first was if he could hold the flame on a lighter. The test was successful but it wasn't very strong. Then he tried to manipulate the water ripples in a cup of water. This test was also not very strong but was stronger. The final test was if he could make a blanket float off of the floor. This test was the most powerful as the blanket floated into the air. When Thomas had completed all of the tests he finally realized what he wanted to use them for. he was going to get revenge on Brendan and his father! He wanted to start off with the easy target and seeing out Thomas's father was always the one pulling the strings Thomas decided to take out the puppet master first! He went to his fathers room and shut the door behind him locking it. Screams and cries of terror and pain were heard all throughout the house as Thomas brutally and viscously killed his father. When his father was finally dead he left the room and shut the door leaving it only slightly open. Now was time to kill off the main instigator. Thomas found his brother Brendan in the living room watching tv and walked directly in front of him. He stood there staring down at his brother and his brother just said "Hey ass-hole, move, I'm trying to watch my show"! Thomas held his hand up towards Brendan and Brendan immediately started losing breath as his throat contracted. Thomas threw his brother off of the couch and Brendan flew to the floor. Brendan immediately got up and ran out of the room but Thomas turned to follow. Brendan ran through the kitchen and went for the front door hoping if he got outside he could get to safety. He flung open the door leaving it open as he ran across his front yard. As he looked back a first time he saw nothing in the doorframe but when he looked back a second time his brother Thomas was standing there just staring at him. He looked ahead to see where he was going and then back to the doorframe. When he did he saw that Thomas was now holding his hand out once again and by some force Brendan was stopped in his tracks. Thomas slowly brought his arm back towards himself and as he did Brendan's legs were forcibly moved backwards towards the house... and his brother. Brendan cried for help as he was dragged towards the house. When he reached the doorframe Thomas flung his arm right and Brendan went flying into the house. Thomas then swung his arm forward slamming the door closed. Brendan trembled in fear as he backed away from Thomas and towards the wall. He finally bumped up against the wall and was trapped in the wake of Thomas's terror. Thomas pointed his hand towards his brother and then started to lift it upwards. As he did Brendan was lifted off of the ground until he was standing fully straight. Thomas began pulling his arm back and forth causing Brendan to slam forcibly into the wall. When Thomas had beaten Brendan enough he began to clinch his fist. Brendan as a result began losing breath rapidly. Thomas's face was demented but at the same time terrified and also joyful. As if he was afraid and glad to do this all at the same time. He then came back to earth and quickly gripped his fist shut crushing his brothers throat and dropping him to the ground. Thomas turned away from his brothers body not wanting to see what the monster inside him had done. He went and left out the front door and began walking down the street. Tomas was never seen or heard from again............
