My First And Only Love
While at a dinner party with friends, the subject of cheating came up. As opinions on the subject circled the room, I thought of how happy we were. She was sitting close to me resting her body against mine. I knew she had been hurt like this before so I whispered softly, "You know that would never happen with us right?" She turned, looked at me smiled and kissed me softly on the mouth. I knew then she was sure that I would always love her.
After getting home and having a nice long soak in a bath together, we made love. When we fell asleep, we were skin to skin with her lying on my chest. Later when I woke up and looked over at the clock, it was 3 AM. She was sound asleep on my chest. The first time she fell asleep like that was the first time we made love. It was the first time either one of had been with another girl. We were both nervous at first. I told her we didn't have to do anything, we could just hold each other. We lay together and fell asleep spooning. I woke up to the feel of her warm soft mouth against mine. We made love. Afterwards I felt so happy and light. I felt complete for the first time in my life. She apologized the next morning because she is a big girl (her words not mine) and thought I had been uncomfortable. When she comes in the kitchen, she always comes up behind me, wraps her arms around me, and says, "I love you so much". I get this thing in my chest every time because I have someone so wonderful to love and to love me.
There will always be other girls out there, but nothing could ever compare to her smile, her heart, her love, her warmth, her devotion and joy. If I have a bad day at work, all I have to do is hear her voice and it all goes away. Sometimes we just cuddle together and talk all night long. I feel as if every one of my heartbeats is hers too. I love her more than anything. I would never ever hurt her.
