University days.

university days.

university days were the great and lightening days in my life. those days. I can remember them whenever and wherever. I love these days even if i had some terrible events in them but still love them. Because I can leave them. You may hate my life. Or you may feel sorry for me. At the first it's logic to hate those days, but after, i love them. I learned a lot from these days. I had chance to know some very important people. I also made some lovely friends.

When i got my baccalaureate in 2009 i decided to go to the university. I did not know then which subject i wanted to register in. I was thinking about philosophy or sociology, and i didn't have in mind english or any thing that has relation with poetry, i don't like poetry. However i registered in english department. It was a wrong choice, but there wasn't another choice, because english is the only subject i had good grades in.

When the studies started, I found that my english wasn't as bad as i thought. I can understand all the profs, more than that i used to participate in all subjects, neither that one about poetry, it was world literature. I always took the last chair, from the day the prof iflahen asked me to analyze a poem. I still remember that, i made the all the class laugh at my analysis. It was very funny, but what i did not understand is that, i get 13.20. That was very impressing. a number of my friends thought that i was just lying to them and they all went to see my awesome mark.

i also have some nice anecdotes with professors, one day i was walking fast, and angry because i had to solve a problem there at the administration and i ran into a professor in my way, i wanted to pass her but she was trying to stop me. i didn't know her right way, then i poke her arm and i said: get out of my way. soddenly she spoke to me and i realize that was my professor, who was standing in front of me, then i asked her to forgive me. what was very funny is the way i was talking to her before i knew her. i automatically changed the way i talked and had a smile on my face. that was strange. i told her about my problem and she directed me to the right person, who could have a solution to that problem. i really like that professor, and most of the students love her. she helps every student who asks her to do him a favor.

i also still remember those days when i was all the time at the office: i had a lot of problems: they most of the time listed me absent even if i attended all my classes and exams, but i didn't know what was the problem. all the administrators know me because they met me everyday at the administration. they all know that my problem is listing me absent, but no one can help me there. i had some hard days: i spend the whole day without food. i just go and come there at the university waiting for an administrative person to find a solution to my problem. sometimes a friend brought me something to eat, and helped me to fill out the papers that the administrators gave me.

one day we had an exam at modern drama and poetry. so we decided to revise it at the university's library. when we were there the responsible called on me. "are these your papers?" "what papers?" i said. "your ID card, student card and some other papers that you filled out to solve some problems here at the university," he said. i took the papers from him and gave them to a friend to read for me the content. they were really mine, but how were they there? who knows; then i knew that all the time and the effort that i spent there at the office to solve the problems will have no result. i got depressed. to be frank i thought to leave the university and do something else. I was about to lose my mind. I was talking to myself everyday. sometimes i just didn't care if somebody was listening to me.

on one hand i really hated the university and being a student. however that was good in the other hand, because i learned many things: for example how to treat people and also to be independent. i think the most important lesson is never to give up and think positivity. even if those days were hard I still love them; i made many kind friends, and i had a chance to meet some very friendly professors, and nice administrative people.
