I'm home alone with a fierce storm brewing in the distance. On the news there are many warnings for a category 3 tornado. The trees are rustling, The thunders rumbling, and in the distance the lightning's cracking. There are trees fighting the wind to stay up. Power lines have fallen and then my power goes out. I race to the basement to find a torch but, frightening me, I hear a loud jet engine. I race to the window but I don’t see any jet. In the distance I spot a tornado ripping through the small town I call home. Timbers flying around, roofs getting ripped off, the sea is getting rougher. Ships are crashing along the rocks causing them to sink. I drop to the floor wondering what to do. I hear knocking on my door along with terrified screams. I hurry to the front door and turn the knob. instantly the door flies open and in comes strong wind gusts. Standing outside is a small family that lives near by. Their roof has been ripped off and in the distance I hear a house crashing down to the ground. I Grab them and pull them inside and let them stay until the tornado is over. Not long after that the tornado has passed but I can still hear it tearing up the rest of the town. We stay inside until we get the all clear signal letting us know the tornado has passed. About 10 minutes passed and then the alarm rings. Every one exits their house to look at the damage. I dropped to the ground in tears after seeing the damage it has done. Most of the houses have been swept away along with many young and old families. Then we hear the tornado signal again. Advising us to get in doors immediately. And it starts all over again.
