Life out

As the rain came down Don just stood there in the door way of the bar. He did not know that there was someone that was looking to kill him. Don was a man that thought he did not have anything to worry about. But some of his friends worried that he would be hurt or killed. Don just went though life as though nothing could hurt him. It was something that he would regret as he was walking to his place. There a man seemed to come out of nowhere. He just stood there looking at Don. Don did not know what to think about this man and what he might do.

Don tried to go around the man but then he grabbed Don. It was just a shock to Don that someone would put their hands on him. That took him aback and Don did not know what to do. The man put his hands around Don`s neck. Don could feel the life going out of his body. Then all of a sudden he stopped and the man just dropped to the ground. There he saw Tommy, one of his best friends, with a knife.

"You see what I told you, you have to open your eyes to everything around you." It was a lesson that Don had learned almost too late. He knew that he had to be more careful what he did in life. Don knew that that guy might of killed him. After that Don had Tommy with him at all times and that was something he was grateful to Tommy for. That he was there for him when he needed him. he was a true friend.
