Logic Vs. Intuition
Born 1989, F, from Austin, Texas, United States.jpg)
Logic is the study of facts gathered through mathematics, science, past experience, and common observations. If something is logical we are saying it is reasonable and smart, but what is considered smart by some may be considered stupid or illogical by others.
When you just *know* something is true, and you arrived at that knowing without any prior information, that is your intuition. It's a part of your higher mind.
Sometimes we shut out our intuition, and pay more attention to logic. This leads to many problems and errors in decision-making.
When we are scared of taking risks, due to the logical mind's need to overanalyze everything, we ignore the quiet voice inside that wants to help us, for it is solution-based.
Perhaps it seems "crazy" to do something that is illogical. Maybe, just maybe, logic is crazy-- not intuition.
There are some things that can not be understood intellectually or with the mind, such as oxygen. We can't see it with our eyes, so our rational mind doesn't experience it, but our consciousness does.
The human brain has the ability to process information based on calculated data, however how can it be aware of things it has never encountered? It can't. Yes, the mind is a tool that serves its purpose by sending signals to the body, but existence goes beyond what is currently known to the brain. Yet we can never experience and know everything there is.
