Chance

Chance(Leo Laclair) It was something that Tammy had longed to do, to be a writer. It was a passion that she had and wanted to have that as her job. That would be the one dream that she wanted to come true over anything. To see her work in a newspaper would show her family that she knew what she was doing. It was her family that did not think that Tammy had what it took to be a writer. It was something that she had to deal with, for she knew in her heart that she would be a writer.

As she was waiting on a man at work he asked if she had been writing for long. For he had heard Tammy talking about it to the other girls. He told her that he was one that could get her stuff in his paper. Tammy told him that she had been doing her writing for years now. He set up a meeting for Tammy to bring some of her work by his office. Tammy knew that God was behind all of this, that her prayers had come true.

That next day she met with the man and he loved what he read. Then he gave Tammy a job to write for the newspaper, it was the dream come true. It was something that her family did not think was true. Till she showed them in the news paper. It was that look on their faces that she had longed to see. That they doubted her for so long now she proved them wrong.
