Case 023(Michelle Angelica H) CASE 023
It was back in the year 2010. Young 6 year old Jace was playing with his best friend in his garden. His house was luxurious. His parents work, and work all day long, not even a day spent with their son. Jace has always spent his free time to play with his best friend after school, Angel. Although he is playful, he’s an extremely smart boy. It was 2 pm in the afternoon; the young master had arrived home with his friend.
“Hey Angel, let’s go!” said little Jace while running with excitement.
“Wait up!” said little Angel.
Every day, they play in the beautiful garden. With wind blowing through their faces, and the sky as blue as the ocean, the children played happily for hours.

3 Hours Later…
It was late in the afternoon. The sun has almost abandoned them.
“Bye Jay! See you at school”
Jace was still playing, and I noticed him trying to catch the fishes in the pond. Suddenly, I remembered something. Something important that I should have not forgotten.
“It...It’s the warning...”
I was shocked and I couldn’t believe I had forgotten such an important matter.
“Young master! You should not make a contact with the water. Step away from the—“
“What? Did I do something wrong Fraulein Maria?”
“Oh, no. You poor little child... You see, twenty years ago, your parents bought this land from a strange landowner. That man warned your father once he received the money. Then he went away in a hurry. From what I remember, he said something about how dangerous the pond is.”
He said, “No! You don’t understand, my wife died because she was in contact with those strange chemicals.”
He said something about the effect which took 20 years and that most people can’t stand the effect. Something about gaining superpowers and how those chemical can transform a person into a mechanical machine, which he invented himself as he was previously an ambitious scientist. But of course master did not believe it at all.

20 YEARS LATER

YEAR: 2030
It was young Jace’s first day of work. I asked him to hurry up; his father was waiting for him in the office. 26 year old Jace went to work as a doctor to express his passion in science. He did numerous experiments in the hospital. Confidence is by his side when he is riding his new black hornet jeep, which can fly like an airplane, only faster. The atmosphere is different now. It seemed very different than the world before, different from the world 20 years ago, when technologies are not as advanced as they are now. Now they even have flying houses, vehicles are like hot air balloons, cars are attached to the ground like a train to avoid traffic in the air and airplanes are not used anymore.

Just as he was driving his new car, his body felt inflexible, like steel, or metal, his vision started to blur and he fainted.

HOSPITAL 01.53pm

He woke up in a hospital, diagnosed, blood taken. The doctor found out that the results were unusual. He cannot fully control his body, since they were transformed to machines. Only when he can control his emotion, he will have a control over his actions. The doctor suggested him to control his emotion, his temper must not control him, and otherwise the machine will have a control of him. Ever since he had a superpower, he used it for good, to be a hero in the city.

“That is all I can tell you, gentleman.”

“Thank you for your cooperation, Mrs. Maria. Have a nice day.”

“Good luck on your investigation officers.”
