Cactus Lizard

Cactus Lizard(Michelle Angelica H) When we were searching for limited animals in The Sahara desert with my crew, we saw a bunch of spiky plants. We observe a cactus, it was moving. We wonder what is it. I tried to use a stick that we found on the sand, to touch it. It was a lizard that looks like a cactus. We were shocked and started to observe it more carefully as my partner took a picture of it. It was moving slowly. I thought about taking that species back to the zoo to be protected, but then I realize that wouldn’t be it’s habitat that it usually lives on. It was exciting that we found a species like this.
An animal such as this “cactus lizard” was not often seen. Our main goal for this exploration of limited species was so that we can discover more animals or living creatures that are often not seen in our daily activities. This research was our topic for the week. As we know, lizards are reptiles and this species did not share the same characteristics with “The Original” one. The original lizard does not have spikes on its body. Eats insects and has sticky legs.
Whereas the cactus lizard has spikes on its back, walks slowly and is dangerous. That’s what we observed. Finally, a new species is known! Maybe we’ll found a new way to save animals.
