I'm not who you think i am

I'm not who you think i am(Christian Paul) Hey! My name is Julian. I am a special human, I can phase through anything. I know it’s surprising and it’s cool but to me it has been a torture. I would love to tell you a story about my past but since that will bore you I will just tell you a story about how I controlled my powers, and I will also tell you a story about the time I was sent on a mission to retrieve the “Grimoire of the village” It’s more or less me trying to kill two birds with one stone.

This Grimore is said to summon creatures deep within the abyss of the knowledge of magic. It is said that it was once used as a weapon of mass destruction, and it is my duty to not let it be in the hands of the wrong person. Well, I don’t consider myself as a good person; I am just saying that it needs to be with a responsible guy. My journey began when I went to an old abandoned library, I was just looking through some books to read, when I stumbled across an ancient book. It was a book about the old war. It was a very interesting book. Just as I was about to return the book a paper slit out in between the pages. It was a map that let towards the Grimoire.

I was sure that I was not going alone so I let my sister Vermillion tag along. Thus our journey began. We were on our way to our first destination which was the mysterious cavern deep within the island of “Harshtie”. As we ventured into the cave I started hear faint noises of a knife slitting a throat and a person crying out. I tried my best to pretend I didn’t hear anything, but the voices and sounds get’s louder every step I take. It would seem as if some kind of ritual is in process. The noises gave me Goosebumps. I walked underneath the ground due to the fact that, I was too scared to walk on the surface so I decided to phase within the ground. As we were walking through my sister saw light in the distance.

“Let’s go towards the light” whispered my sister

“What! That’s what everyone does. They see a light and “ooooohh a light” and they end up screaming in pain” I replied

“Come on let’s just try”

“No!”

I phased my sister’s foot within the ground so she couldn’t continue walking. I told her to stay there and just let me handle it. Just as I thought, it was a ritual of sacrifices. It is one of those sacrifices where they would use the blood of the man to draw something. It looked like they expected us due to the fact that it acted as a next clue. They drew the map and led us towards our next destination, which was “The Tashing River”.

So we boarded our plane and we headed straight towards the river, where we decided to have some relaxing time. After all the work we had put in just by walking. So far we have just accomplished half of the journey. After relaxing we were ready to presume our journey. When we arrived we wondered why nothing was happening. We started scattering, searching here and there, yet still we found nothing. Then suddenly my sister tripped on a rock and suddenly it opened a path for us.

P.S: it’s so cliché

This path led us towards the place where the book was sitting this whole time. We decided to split up and tried to make a contest out of this. As I said we weren’t that responsible. We decided to see who could reach the book first and the first one to reach it would get a prize. As soon as the countdown finished we ran as fast as we can to reach the book. I kind of cheated due to the fact that I sunk her into the ground before it started, but what I did was really bad, because, it triggered a booby trap. I could at least phase within the ground, but my sister on the other hand, she couldn’t do anything. She was left there standing helpless.

“Help Jul!” she screamed.

“I’m on it!” I replied

I dragged her foot within the floor to keep her safe, and I saved her life! After all the commotion me and vermillion went straight to the door. Behind this door lies the “Grimoire of the village.” We were both so excited for this. Just as we were about to open the door, it shut itself instantly and words glowed right around the edges of the door and we were in shock. The riddle stated

I am a ship to lands of treasure,
I am a key to wisdom's pleasure.
I will always lead you on an upward treak
I have so much to tell you but cannot speak
If you can guess who might I be...
I will tell you all about the mysterious sea!

We stared at each other with blank faces, and as I saw her eyes I instantly knew what the answer was. The answer was “Book”. As soon as I answered the riddle the door opened, with light glistening out of the little spaces of the door. It also seemed like a choir of angels were singing just so that the door would have a dramatic effect to it. I saw the book meters away from me and I knew that this was a start of a new future. I look to my sister’s face and I laugh manically

“Muahahahahahaha”

I can finally rule the world again with this book. I can bring back the chaos that was taken away from me and now people will suffer. Especially, you, yes you, the one reading this.
