EMBRACE THE NEW AGE(Charles E.J. Moulton) We live in a new age. Now, I mean that in the sense of the movement called New Age as well as in the sense of the world. There is a real sense of individual spirituality in many people, one that is founded in the true depth of the human spirit. That is good.

We are realizing more and more, many of us, at least, that God is not a vengeful and spiteful God. He doesn't care if we call him Brahma or Jehova or Allah or God. If you think there is a difference between these names for God then you have misunderstood the entire concept of the soul. God gave everyone the possibility to pray to him in the way he chose. One cleaning woman said that her church was her washroom. I lived in the outskirts of Hamburg in Germany for five years. When I didn't want to travel all the way into town to join my congregation in the Swedish Church, I simply held a small Sunday Mass in own flat. I sang, prayed, held a sermon and brought out bread and water to use to remember Jesus.

Naturally, we are afraid and worried. Part of having those emotions is logical and life preserving. But trusting what is inside us, inside our souls, is even more important. In fact, it is the only real answer. It is very seductive to seek the answer outside of yourself. The answer is out there. That is what we hear. If you are agnostic or atheist and are not spiritually founded in deep belief you might have a difficulty to connect to the reality that the answer is inside you. Every answer is inside you. The spiritual answers to all your problems reveal themselves when you calmly and positively search into your deepest and most faithful emotions. Also the reasons for your fears will be revealed. You are more than you realize, greater than you imagine. The fears might be founded in your childhood traumas or in a traumatic experience in your past. The fears might also be founded in problems in previous lives.

Be that as it may, the fact of the matter is that people trust their brains more than their souls. Sometimes, trusting your soul and your spirit and your emotion is what you need. The only thing you might need.

The discussion about creating humane robots or what DNA actually determine us is pointless. We have genes, DNA and chromosomes. But these scientific facts are only means to an end. Never forget that your body is a house. You are not your body. You are a soul. You have always existed. You will always exist. Look inside you. You know it's true.

The cliché about love being the answer really is true. That really includes every kind of love. Anything that you approach with love will ultimately turn into something good. Believe it or not, the physical act that occurs when two people who honestly love each other have sex is one of the most spiritual acts of soulful symbiosis you can have. After all, it is what procreates our species and helps us express the love we feel for our partner. There is nothing to be ashamed of there. That is why it is a shame that sex is so cheapened in today's society when it is so beautiful. What is described as man's downfall or Eve's Apple or the seductive fruit of the forbidden tree is shame and the cheapening of something that is meant to be a faithful and beautiful human experience. Adam and Eve were not born with clothes on. Why should they be ashamed? The problem is not sex. The problems begin if sex becomes a cheap and dishonest powertool. It is not. It is just another way to express love, like sympathy or gratitude or care or the goodness of heart.

So, open your heart to see God's world as it is way beyond dogmatic compulsion. Everyone is different. Everyone has his or her way of approaching God. Be tolerant. Not sceptic. See the individual, not his job. Look into her heart and not into her wallet. Embrace the new age. Embrace the soul way beyond creed or color or disability. Inside everyone, even inside the atheists, God is alive and well. He is their best friend. They just don't know that the thing they call love or justice or faith or gratitude actually are other words for the eternal spirit that lives in us all.

Believe me, God will be happy when he hears that you finally have understood that your soul is immortal.
