The first encounter

The first encounter(Brenden Gooch) He had no idea what he just saw. The strangest cross between animals he had ever seen and it just stole his kill. A hunters worst nightmare and greatest dream. It, being a mix of a wolf head, a deer’s body and hind legs, gorilla arms, huge reptile like wings, gills to breathe under water, and a fish tail and fin, tore the deer to shreds, throwing blood and guts everywhere. He easily could kill the creature, for he had a clear shot at its head. He slowly pulled the trigger until a huge bang came from his gun. To his surprise, it only annoyed the creature. It looked back at him and ran. He turned around and started running but he tripped over a log. He landed face down into the dirt and he only heard the growling of the creature over him. The last thing that went through his mind was, “why today.” He lifted his head from the ground and turned, face to face with the creature, sat still and slowly reached for his gun. He heard a loud thunderous growl and then everything went black.
