The End Is Near
Born 1998, F, from State College, Pa, United StatesIt is June 5th, 2014. There are five more days left of school and Megan just can't wait for school to end because on the last day of school, she gets to hang out with friends. Her best friends are Jenny, Kaylah, Kristina, Devin, and Aaron. Her anticipation builds as the days pass on the way to the end of the school year. Summer is getting closer and closer, she can just taste it. It is June 10th and there is one more day to go until school is let out. She hesitantly steps into her first period class knowing that she has to take a final which he had been studying for for the past three days. She is super nervous about it, but after she has finished she thinks that she put a lot of effort into it so she got a good grade. Later that day, Megan thinks she needs a good night's rest after the long and tiring day she had at school, so Megan went to bed at 8:30. This was way too early for her, but she knew that she needed sleep because the next day would be a long one. The next morning, Megan woke up to the sun shining brightly in her window. She realized that this would be her last day at school as a sophomore. She was super excited because this was the day she had been waiting for since last week. She hurried up and got dressed and stood outside, waiting for the bus. Everyone at school was excited because they knew that summer vacation was just hours away. Megan took the last of her finals and she was very relieved that all of her work had been turned in and she would now be a junior. Once school was done, she met up with her best friends and they walked down the sidewalk away from school, waiting to start their summer vacations and to have a rest from school for awhile until August when they would have to return for junior year. Until then, they were going to have the time of their lives going to the pool, and spending time with each other since they hardly got to see each other very much during the school year. Finally, the end had arrived.
