‘’ Daddy please let me explore this world on my own. Why are you imposing your notions over me? It was good when I was a toddler but I’m grown up now!’’, this was what I had said to my dad as he refused to accomplish my aspiration of vacationing in Murree along with my peers. ‘’ look, Sara you are the only child of mine and to take any risk regarding you is not different than to invite a nightmare towards my path therefore don’t persuade me’’, Dad replied. ‘’But’’, that was the only word I had expel to defend my aspiration as he had left for office now and an oppressed lassie is left behind in this dark and lonely house where no body cares for her desires. ‘’ What can I do if I’m his only child? Isn’t it my right to relish the liberty which god has given to every human?’’ I tied a chain of questions to myself. I was indeed, feeling sorrowful at this refusal that I was not enjoying the sly and cunning acts of Jerry which I had enjoyed ayes and had tuned to a boring news channel. Time fled away and an unusual gleam appeared at my face as I had been watching that news channel for more than 2 hours. That was bizarre! ‘’But why is everything turning red? And what does it tries to convey?’’ I was baffled on this abrupt happening but things became too clear to me as the news representer announced that a bus taking some students to Murree has fell into trench leaving 12 died and more than 20 wounded. Tears rolled down my cheeks as I heard this downhearted news. This incident had taken my 3 friends to their final destination and I was all alone with their memories, I was weeping like a rushing river. At that time I realized that the decision of my father was indeed blissful for me and sometimes timely pain is better than a lifetime contrite. I hurriedly grabbed my phone and send a message thanking him to save my life. I was feeling so abashed on my stubborn behavior and on the blissful nature of my father that I had bent down with gratitude, the only way to thank him for making such a painful but a wise decision as well.
