Langda Tyagi (Lame Tyagi)(Abhilash Mudadi) This Story is of a man named mayank tyagi.

The story starts with a 21 year old mayank smoking with his friends and discussing about their career plans on the outskirts of their village. When Mayank is asked what he wants to become in his life he replies that he wants to become an actor in bollywood. His friends Mock him by saying that he looks like shahrukh khan from behind. He had a dark complexion and because of this he never got attention from girls. He always regretted being a dark guy. But it was only his mother who considered him the most good looking man. He was a student of Arts and was also working in a circus so that he could get some money to purchase a bike. Being a circus man he was good with all the stunts performed in the circus.

When his friend Bala gets a technical job in Mumbai he goes with him to the railway station to send him off. When Mayank realizes that this is his only chance to visit Mumbai, he catches the train without even thinking about his studies and family. On reaching Mumbai he stays with Bala in his flat for a couple of days. One morning Bala tells Mayank to vacate his flat as his company was not allowing him to share his room with any other person. Mayank has no option but to sleep on the streets. Next morning he goes to audition for a daily soap. He returns with nothing but criticism for his looks. Heart broken Mayank walks around the streets just thinking about his faith. He finally gets a job in a construction company as a mason. One day while there he witnesses a shooting of an action film. He observes the shooting like an innocent child. He makes a request to the action director of the film to give him some kind of a role in their film's action sequence. The director eventually agreed. Mayank impresses everyone through his agility, speed and flexibility. He finally gets signed to the job of a stuntman by the production company named 'WE TOGETHER' which is headed by sudhir chopra. He does some death defying stunts for their production and earns 1000rs for his job. After getting promoted he starts working as a body double for a leading actor in bollywood. Mayank then goes to his village to show his movies in which he worked as a stuntman. Even though his face does not appear, the villagers gets overjoyed to see their village star from backside. His stunt was only of 9 seconds but that 9 seconds was enough to display his talent. He gets a grand farewell from his villagers when he leaves for Mumbai to continue with his job. Now the struggling days are gone.

After returning from his village his life changes forever. He as usual gets assigned to perform the most dangerous stunts. The action director explains to him a stunt sequence where he has to jump from a moving car and catch the other moving car. The production team refuses to take any safety precautions as the safety wires are not there. Instead of delaying the shoot and waiting for the wires, the shooting gets started. when the director says action, mayank jumps and loses his balance, in that process he loses his left leg. Production head sudhir chopra tells media that it is his mistake as he performed the stunt without any precautions. Now a stuntman without a leg is like an artist without any imagination. Rejected by the production Mayank goes to sudhir's house to ask for money. Sudhir refuses to recognize him and informs his guards to not let mayank in. Mayank feels that time stopped where it all started for him. Meanwhile his village is hit by a drought. He sells his bike which he had purchased after getting the job of a stuntman.

With that money he hires an artificial leg on rent so that his family does not get a shock on seeing a lame mayank. He goes there to find that his father is the only surviovr from their family. His father, not knowing about his son's condition, tells him to go away and concentrate on his action scenes. His father also says to him that he won't leave the villagers alone and will die along with them. Now mayank reluctantly has to return to Mumbai.

Meanwhile sudhir chopra becomes bankrupt and the government seizes his company and his flats. Mayank is now full of regret that he can't help the villagers who gave him so much to remember. On returning to Mumbai his struggle continues until one day he joins a theater group of lame people called "we the lame". He gets the job of writing stories for their plays. After working there for 1 year he is appointed as their casting director too. Mayank tyagi is now "langda tyagi". One day as usual Mayank is conducting the casting process and he gets an unexpected visitor for the audition. The man was sudhir himself who is now bankrupt and in debt. He is in need of money. Sudhir is in shock when he sees mayank holding the postion of a casting director. Sudhir asks him for forgiveness and also for a role in his play.

Mayank smiles and hands him a letter. In that letter it is written that Sudhir has been appointed to play one of the villagers in mayank's next play which is based on the drought faced by mayank's village. Mayank also mentions the reason for giving him that role so that he understands the true meaning of suffering.

The story ends with Sudhir performing as one of the villagers and the audience are clapping for him.
