October 23th. Ohio State, which for so long´s been drowning in vegetation, is now fully covered in snow. Notorious couch in front of me and nobody else around, except Abel, my old furry friend, lying calmly by my feet and breathing slowly. After all These days I finally realize that this is the place, where my path is going to end. My dear Jane has never listened to me, nor did my Father. He always repeated, it was a torture for him to look at his wife´s murderer and to hold him in his arms. Blaming, hating my existence. He recently tried to apologize when we were drinking tea by Aunt Mellow´s, not realizing that it was too late. Full of regret I still can taste the deadly Earl Grey on my lips. I tried to explain. I kept saying it´s been an accident, but Jane didn´t believe me. Always at her own. And then she told Paul. If only she hadn't, everything would´ve been fine, just like two years ago. Poor Jane. Poor Paul. Jane adored our garden. There hasn´t been a better place for us to spend time together. I remember her playing violin beneath the rose arch, so carefully grown by my father, and me, listening to the wonderful sounds of "Amati". Uncanny magic made by her bow. I remember her curly hair and her loving bright eyes. I remember Paul, his sincere smile and his sometimes inappropriate jokes. So our garden is the place, where their paths converge to end. Still feeling the blood-soaked soil under my fingers, I believe, it isn´t a good place for them to sleep in. Nothing more left to worry about. I recall the good old times. I cut the lines, just like my father cut the roses. My heart is a broken mechanism. My body is a carving board to share our stories. I begin my Ascention and I end my path here. I see Paul and Jane smiling at me. I see them going beside me.
