New York December 31, 11:58 pm, everyone was waiting for the New Year celebration. Suddenly a loud noise was heard from hotel monaliza. everyone was shocked for a second. everyone ran to hotel monaliza. it was a waiter who shouted. suddenly everybody noticed that a man was lying dead on the floor! They took him to the hospital, but it was too late, he was dead. Hearing this news a man in a black suit and a hat got up from his chair, shocked, it was the famous detective in New York, detective Richard. He called his friend or a helper in his investigations, Dr William. He arrived in Richard’s house within a few minutes. Then they called a carriage and left to the hospital. it was nearly 10 kilometers to the hospital from Richard’s house. There they saw Robert, the man who was dead. Then the report came Robert died from drinking poison. Hearing this Dr William said wisely ‘‘I think it is not a suicide case because if he wanted to die he could have drunk the poison in his home by himself. ‘‘You are right William, you have spoken a very important thing” said Richard. Suddenly Richard saw Robert’s Brother Robin there. Richard started talking about something with Robin. Usually Richard talks less with everybody except Dr William, but he was talking very much with Robin. Dr William was busy talking with the waiter in hotel Monaliza. When they left the hospital Richard said to Dr William ‘‘I asked Robin if Robert had any enemies he said yes…’’ ‘‘Who is that?” by not letting Richard finish William asked. ‘‘He is Robert’s cousin John and the interesting thing is that he is from Australia’’ said Richard. ‘‘what is interesting in this?’’ asked William. ‘‘the interesting thing is if he wants to continue on this case we must go to Australia’’ said Richard. ‘‘when we are leaving?’’ asked William. ‘‘tonight 7:30 pm I have booked a ship to Australia’’ said Richard.

It was a long trip to Australia. When they reached John’s house they saw John’s wife. Richard asked ‘‘where is John?’’ John’s wife Sally was very sad hearing this. she said in low voice ‘‘he died two months ago.” Richard and William were shocked hearing this. Richard and William left Australia. sitting in the ship Richard asked William ‘‘what did the waiter say to you that day?” ‘‘I asked him if anything went unusually that night, he said nothing special but usually robin leaves the hotel with Robert but that night he left early without Robert”. Hearing this Richard asked ‘‘do you think William that we must go Robin's way?” ‘‘I think we should“ said William. "We must the day we reach New York” said Richard ‘‘but I cannot come” said William. ‘‘why?” asked Richard. “because it is my wedding anniversary” said William. “OH! Congratulations.”

When they reached there Richard set off to Robin’s house which was like a palace. After one week Richard came near William in a carriage with a smile on his face and Robin dragged William to the carriage with Robin. they set off to the police station. When they reached the police station Richard said to the inspector, pointing at Robin, “he is the one who killed Robert.” “what?” asked the inspector. “say” said Richard to Robin. With a shame on his face Robin said “yes, I killed my brother.” “but why?” William asked. “just for money, when my father died all of his assets went to Robert, I was jealous because he was living like a king and I was just a worker so I killed him by adding poison in his drink”. Inspector was shocked hearing this and he arrested Robin.

After returning to Richard’s house William asked to Richard “how did you figure it out?” “after two or three days me and Robin became friends, then I asked, isn’t it you who killed Robert? first he hesitated to say but he had a very weak heart so he told me everything” said Richard. “truth always finds its own way right?” asked William. “yes William you are right” said Richard.
