It was the feast day; it was really a very silly day for me. I was sleeping in my bedroom and I was listening to all the children playing outside with their gifts. My father died and my mother was sleeping in her bedroom and didn't care that it was feast day or anything. So I was very sad and my tears were on my face but suddenly, I decided to do anything to make me happy like the other children.
I came out of my house and began to romp in the city. I watched the children play and celebrate, watched how the lovers spent their time in the feast day and watched how families enjoyed their time in the gardens.
I saw a clown was causing the people to laugh and painting a smile on their faces and all the people were laughing except me. After he finished his job, he came to me and asked 'why didn't you smile, was I silly?' I didn't find words to answer him but my tears fell on my face so he understands that I didn't celebrate like the others. I tell him that I want to celebrate and laugh in the feast like him. He said to me that he will take me to his house.
We have already arrived at his home, I entered his withering home, it was really very dirty and the smell was fatal. He took me to a bedroom; I saw a very old woman sleeping on a bed, she was his mother and he tells me that she needs 3,000 dollars to heal from the cancer, then he cried and said:
- See all the people have problems in their life, not only you, but you should smile because many problems solve with a smile …the smile is the easier thing in our life.
I really took a very good lesson from this man. I can smile if I want so I will smile and celebrate. I do like the man said to me, I smiled and danced on the most famous street in our city on the song 'We found Love … In a hopeless place' and suddenly, I found my mother in front of me holding a very big gift… I hugged her very strong and the clown will be in my mind until the next feast…
