Dinosaur

Gee, it's dark in here and awfully cramped. I wish I could get out of this. It's cold too. I think I'll just start kicking my legs and see if I can break myself free. I don't know where it'll take me but I'm going to try anyway. Thump, thump thump ....crack, uh-oh, I think I just got out of where I was staying. I see some light through my closed eyelids. Let me see if I can stretch my legs and break free. Yawn... I'm stretching my legs and my arms and whoops, I just fell out.

I can't see anything because my eyelids are still closed. Boy, I wish I could see something. It's awfully cold where I am. I'll see if I can feel my way around. Oh! I'm a little shaky on my legs Well, it feels pretty rough ....and another smooth spot ....and some more rough stuff ... and WHUMP! I just tripped over something. I'm going to see if I can find a soft spot, and lie down and go to sleep. I've been working too hard. Oh, here's a nice spot. I'll just lie down here for a little bit...and... see... if...I... can... sleep......................I'm waking up and my eyelids are opening up. Oh-boy, I can see now.

Even though there isn't much to see, because it's pretty dark in here, it looks as though I'm in some sort of cave. If I start walking around, maybe I can find my way out of it. I'm walking and walking and boy! I've got these gigantic legs that makes it hard to walk, but I'm walking anyway. I see a little light up ahead, and I think it might be sunlight. It is, I'm outside, and it's bright. I can run and I can jump, WHEE! All this running and jumping is making me hungry. I've got to find something to eat. Let me see....there's something black over there and something red over there and something green over here. I'll just go over and try them. I'll try these black ones first. CHOMP, CHOMP, CHOMP, hmnn, they don't taste very good. I'll try the red ones next,....Chomp, Chomp ...yeck, they're not good at all. I'll try the green ones and hope for the best. Mhn-mhn, ...not bad, ..not bad at all, in fact very good. Well I think I'll eat a few of these green ones...anyhn...anyhn....anyhn...anyhn...anyhn...anyhn..oh boy, maybe I ate too many. I don't feel so good. I'm going to go to sleep if I can.

THUMP....THUMP.....THUMP......WHAT'S THAT?? I hear something thumping around out there. I'll take a look, and see what it is. It's something big....and green....and hmnn, I wonder what that is. THUMP....THUMP.... THUMP....THUMP ...it's coming over here. THUMP....THUMP...it's looking at me. Looking around at me, going around the back of me, going around the front of me......BANG!! Hey, it smacked me. I didn't like that. I wonder what this is.....BANG!! it smacked me again. I 'll have to smack it back if it smacks me again. BANG!! O.K. That's enough, I'm going to do some smacking myself. BANG... I just knocked it over. Hmnn… I guess I must be bigger than that thing. I wonder what this is all about. It's getting up, and coming over to me. What's happening...it wants to take my arm? It wants to take my arm and walk with it. This is very funny and I have a strange feeling. It's awfully warm and the sun is shining on my back and it's making me feel funny. Anyway we're walking together, walking here and walking there and it keeps looking at me. It has a strange face. It's got a red mouth, and long eyelashes. I think it's having a strange feeling also. Let's walk over to that hole in the mountain, and see if we can see each other in the dark.
