It didn't take long for him to realize I was with him. Actually, I was sitting in the back seat of his car when he heard the message on the radio. "Robin Williams is dead," the announcer said. I took a long look at the man. At first he said nothing. He just opened his mouth and gasped. Then something happened that I hadn't seen or felt before in any life. He reached out toward me with his soul.
I turned to my guardian angel, who sat in the back seat of the man's car just like me. "Told you, you'd want to come here," my angel said. I smiled at my guardian, his image still resembling what he had been in his last life. A three-eyed and tentacled Andromeda alien with four feet and three legs. Uncanny, how I had played an alien early in my career because I had the soul of an alien as a guardian angel. "How does he do that?" I whispered, full of awe. "Robin," he answered me. "Look. Just look." I then felt the man open and show me, I mean really show me, his soul.
I think I just lost myself in his company after that. He asked me why I had killed myself. I told him he shouldn't worry about, that I was fine. I tutored him how to manage his acting career. When Lauren Bacall died, we both spent some good quality time with our new friend and had a whale of a time. I think both of us told him how unusual it was to see someone with so strong psychic powers.
My alien guardian angel told me that my living friend literally had pulled me away from the pain of having killed myself on Earth. I was now ready to be someone else's angel for a bit. I'll take care of an alien princess for a little while.
But I told my alien angel I want to go back to Earth soon. I have this crazy idea of reincarnating as my own daughter's baby girl in a few years.
What can I say?
Once Hollywood, always Hollywood. And again, I will make everyone laugh. After all, laughing is what I am all about.
