The Girl at the Denzel Fountain
Born 2001, F, from Virginia, United StatesCiel Gyldensted sat happily on his bed in Bonnefoy Hotel, Victoricus City. He was happy that he's in Victoricus City now. He finally gets to see the Denzel Fountain, the icon of Victoricus City. Bonnefoy Hotel is also near to the Denzel Fountain. Ciel felt so lucky.
That night, Ciel, his paremts, and his older sister Celine were eating at a restaurant in Bonnefoy Hotel. After done eating, Ciel's parents and sister talked. Ciel felt bored. So, he decided to wander off to the Denzel Fountain. He brought his phone as well.
At the Denzel Fountain, Ciel was amazed by the fountain's beauty. He took a lot of pictures there.
Suddenly, a young girl came out of the fountain. Ciel was shocked. "W-who are you!?" He asked. "I'm Jadwiga Denzel," she said. "Now that I've tell you my name, please tell yours to me!" "I'm Ciel Gyldensted." Ciel stared at Jadwiga. He had to admit that Jadwiga was pretty. Her light brown hair is braided into two braids reaching to her chest, and she also wears a red flower hairclip on her right braid. She has beautiful grey eyes and white skin. She wears a red ribbon on her neck, a pink bodice, a red dress with white flower patterns and a pink frill at the bottom, a red-and-gold ribbon on her waist, purple stockings, and red Mary Jane shoes with a golden ribbon on each shoes.
"Where are you from?" Ciel asked Jadwiga. "I come from Edelstein City. My parents too. Their names are Sir Toris Denzel and Lady Britta Denzel," Jadwiga answered. "Wow! So you're from the nobility?" Ciel was amazed. "Sure!" Jadwiga replied. "How about you, Ciel? Where are you from?" Jadwiga asked. "I'm from Alaric City. My parents too. They are Magnus and Ophelia Gyldensted. I also have an older sister, Celine. Do you have any siblings, Jadwiga?" Ciel answered. "I have an older brother named Jagiello. He's twelve years older than me, and I never saw him in reality. He died of cholera. A year after he died, I was born," said Jadwiga. "That's sad," said Ciel.
"Cieeeeeeeeelllllll!!! Where are you?????"
Suddenly, Ciel heard his mother shouting his name. "Bye Jadwiga. My mother is calling me." He said to Jadwiga, while waving. Jadwiga waved back. "Bye Ciel..." She said. Then, Ciel ran back to the restaurant.
"Ciel! We're so worried for you! Where have you been, and what took you so long?" Ciel's mother asked. Ciel then told his parents and sister the truth about where have he been and what took him so long.
After Ciel finished his story, Celine's face went pale. "Ciel... Do you know that a long, long, time ago, in 1856, Victoricus City was named Edelstein? And at that time, there was a noble couple named Sir Victoricus (Toris) Denzel and Lady Britta Denzel. They had a son named Jagiello Artiyom Denzel. He died of cholera. A year after Jagiello's death, the Denzels had another child. Her name was Jadwiga Konstantina Denzel. At that time, the Denzel Fountain still goes by the name Jaroslava Fountain. And, on November 27, 1878, the Denzels were assasinated at the Jaroslava Fountain. Jadwiga was the first to be killed. When she is killed, she is wearing the same outfit and hairstyle as you described about the girl at the fountain. After that incident, Edelstein is renamed Victoricus and Jaroslava is renamed Denzel, in honor of the Denzels. Popular legend say that Jadwiga's soul still haunts the Denzel Fountain at night as a young girl looking exactly the same as the young girl you met just then." Celine told her shocked brother.
After hearing his sister's story, Ciel froze. And he thought in his mind that he would never want to visit Denzel Fountain or Victoricus City again.
