Aaron rubbed his left ear. That was the signal. We both raised our hands and got excused to the bathroom. Aaron and I snatched our backpacks.
We were conducting a secret mission: Mission Education. The objective was to “postpone” school for the fifth graders. The only way for us to complete that objective was to kidnap the fifth grade teachers. We were only doing this because our friend Conner had offered us both a decent amount of super rare pokemon cards in exchange for us to make sure Mission Education becomes reality.
Aaron and I hauled out the hidden metal ladder and a rope ladder from behind our portable and set the metal ladder so we could climb onto the roof. Then we took a saw, smoke bombs, two pairs of night vision goggles, a rope ladder, gags, a pair of wire cutters, a screwdriver, and six rolls of duct tape out of our backpacks. We got all this junk from a store called Weird Things. It’s run by Conner’s dad. He is a pokemon geek, so we traded in most of the super rare pokemon cards Conner gave us.
We ascended onto the roof with the supplies. Aaron ripped a hole in the wooden roof of the portable using the saw and chucked a smoke bomb down. “That was some explosion.” I exclaimed when the smoke bomb detonated. Then he dropped the rope ladder down and I scampered into the portable with a gag, a roll of duct tape, and a pair of night vision goggles on my eyes. I hastily found the teacher, gagged her, and secured her with duct tape. My hands reached out to seize the rope ladder and I clambered up, grasping the fabric of the shirt between my fingers.
After that, we approached the vent and used the screwdriver to unseal the lid. Aaron took the wire cutters and sliced through the vent like it was full of soft grass, cutting every single wire.
Finally, we performed the same procedure to the other teachers with efficiency and shoved them into the bushes next to a farm across the road from the school. Aaron and I high-fived each other. We had completed Mission Education.
