One sunny day, Rishabh was in the store looking for a cricket bat, but he couldn’t find one. He was surprised because it was the first time that he couldn’t find one, so he went to ask the manager in the shop.
“Do you have a cricket bat?’’ said Rishabh.
“No, we don’t have a cricket bat. They’re all gone,’’ replied the manager.
“OK,’’ demanded Rishabh.
He went out of the shop and went to his house. He was very sad because he really wanted a cricket bat. His mum was going to find him, so when Rishabh was half way home, he saw his mum.
“Why are you sad?’’ asked mum.
“Because I want a cricket bat,’’ replied Rishabh.
“No, you can’t have one!’’ responded mum.
“Why!’’ replied Rishabh.
“Stop saying that you want a cricket bat!’’ requested mum.
“OK,’’ enquired Rishabh.
Then he had a dark feeling about how to get one…
He was so nervous that he was going to shout. He was sweating, so he stopped and his mum thought that he was walking, so she carried on walking. When she arrived she demanded, “Where is Rishabh!’’
Then she went off to find him, but she couldn’t find him. Rishabh was off to another shop, but he couldn’t find a cricket bat again. Later, he saw another cricket bat, but he didn’t have enough money to buy it because he left some of the money in the other shop. He thought what to do. Then he thought that he could go back to the other shop, but he thought it wasn’t a good idea because there was only one more cricket bat left. He thought that if he tried without enough money, the manager would know that he really wanted it, so he would be looking at him all the time to not go out and he would never buy one. He went out of the door. He looked behind his shoulder. He saw no one looking at him, but there was a video camera. He didn’t see the camera and he went out of the shop and…
He went back to his house, but the manager in the shop called the police because he saw Rishabh going out of the shop with the cricket bat. He saw a video and the alarm sound as well. The problem was that the manager didn’t know the phone number of the police. He asked all the people in the cricket store, but nobody in the store knew phone number.
Rishabh was so happy that he had one cricket bat. When he arrived home, nobody was inside the house. He had to wait 1 or 2 hours inside the house. His mum was off to the same shop as he was the last time. Then his mum arrived and she had all the money he left. He thought that he left money in the second shop he went to. It was the second time, he was shaking and he was very nervous. He went right away to his bedroom and he hid the bat. His mum had a cricket bat in a really big plastic bag. Rishabh threw the bat out of the window and his mum gave him the new cricket bat. Then his mum went to the back playground in the house and she saw the cricket bat that Rishabh stole. His mum was so angry that she took the cricket bat she bought and she throw it into the rubbish bin and told his teachers never let him go to play in the playground with his friends ever.
