Religious intolerance for Christianity in most Islamic states and communities permeates and continues to ruin Christian family lives, disintegrate families and leave them with fear of the unknown. These brutalities are being meted to Christians while being branded "infidel worthy of dying a horrific death".
A habit of initiating conversation with fellow travelers on random topics at airports proved to be a raveling. I had expected that it would have been about the dangerous "Ebola epidemic" currently dissipating Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea since he was traveling from that region, but it was rather the case of religious persecution for converting to Christianity.

On August 19, 2014, on a flight from Brussels to New York, I sat beside a young Liberian who seemed very troubled, withdrawn, but had stack of pictures that he flipped over and over while uncontrollably sobbing. I became deeply concerned and asked him what was causing his discomfort.
He gave me permission to share his story with the world and I just can't help but to let the world know the fate people are made to go through because of their own religious conviction and belief, and the contemptuousness of converting from Islam to Christianity. There are numerous cases of persecution, prosecution in the death sentences, brutal killings and hacking to death of Muslims who convert to Christianity, or being forced to Islam, all over the world.
It was a valuable interception that tells of inhumanity, pity and sorrow bordering on religious intolerance, prosecution and venom hate for one family member converting from Islam to Christianity.

Mamadee Sackor is from Liberia, West Africa. He was born into a fanatic Muslim family from the ethnic Mandingo tribe.
His father had insisted for him and his sister to be 'radicalized' by sending him to Saudi Arabia for training. According to Sackor, he refused his father lurking and rather decided to be schooled locally. He says his relative bestowed hatred for Christianity and would not even tolerate he and his sister mingling and having Christian friends, not to say the least marrying one.
"It was unacceptable to my father, mother and relatives that we would become Christian, to fall in love with one, and when it became apparent that we were converting to Christianity, the entire Islamic community was enraged and called for our death," Sackor lamented.

According to him, all kinds of barbarism had been meted against him. He was physically attacked, beaten and tortured on so many occasions and left severely brutalized, All because of his new found faith.
"It has not been easy for me, it has been hell for me and my family and my sister. They finally poisoned her to death, she died right in my hands vomiting all the poison they had given her though food and drinks when she returned to visit with our mother,” he cried.
Sackor says that his sister, Kadiatu Sackor, had gone to visit with their mother that day against his wish because he knew how devilish they were and could stop at nothing. Five minutes after she returned from the visit she started complaining about stomach ache and when it got so severe with her prostrating all over the floor, she was rushed to the hospital but died in his lap on the way.
"It so saddens that my mother could preside, accept and concede to her daughter's death, her own flesh and blood." This is out of the world he commented.
