Best Love I Ever Had(Makida N Herbert) Naomi and Makida were planning to go to camp for the summer vacation. They both wanted to go to Police Youth Club, we were home sitting and thinking about it. Both Naomi and Makida went off to ask. Naomi went to mum and asked, "mum can we go to Police Youth Club?" Mum asked, "where is that and what is it about?" Makida said it teaches us lots of new stuff like, how to learn to read better, how to greet each other, most importantly how to grow up the right way. Mum said, "if that is so then go." We were jumping and loving life.

The first day we got to know each other, we got to know them by their names, you know the usual stuff.... So we were all getting to know each other when the boys asked to play along with us. we said "no problem" and giggled off. We were playing this game called Rounder's, Rounder's is a game where you have two teams and we have at least eight cones and the other team has to throw the ball and we have to bat. when you bat you have to bat making sure you touch each cone, while running and that's how it goes. After that long game it was time to eat. Makida decided to go and buy something out on the road to eat and after she did that she walked back to camp. When Makida reached back to camp, Makida gave Naomi some food and Naomi said "thank you." So Makida left Naomi and went outside to enjoy her meal and she sat and started to eat, then a boy came along and sat next to her, he was wearing a white jersey with his name on it, blue jeans and blue and white hat. He said "Hi my name is Reon Thomas and it's a pleasure to meet you, what's your name?" I said "My name is Makida Herbert and it's a pleasure to meet you too." He asked, "how is your day going so far?" I replied Fantastic!!! He said I like you and I was like, like me, like me? and he said yes, and I asked him why, he said because you're different from others. I smiled and said I do too. He held me by the hand and said I will go out of my way just for you and a tear came down my cheek, rolling down my eye, then I said would you do that for me? and he said "yes."

He told me to come see this, I really want to show you this, so I took off. he showed me a bunch of beautiful flowers and told me I look just like that, so I hugged him. He was so romantic, then Naomi came along and asked "who is this?" and I said "a friend." She giggled and walked away.

Then it was time for us to gather inside and he sat next to me and he put his hand on my leg and told me he loves me so much....so I told him I loved him too. after the session I told him something that I won't tell anyone and he laughed and told me something he won't tell anyone and we were both equal. He asked me for my number and I gave it and he gave me his.

Clearly I thought I was dreaming. Is this coming through? I asked myself. God is so good, I thought to myself. he then held me by my hand and pulled me inside and we sat and talked and talked and talked. then he came closer and he kissed me on my forehead and I smiled till my cheeks hurt me. he asked me if I pray, I said yes. He said, well let's pray for each other, and I said no problem.

We had now finished and it was time to go so we walked home together and Naomi came along. we were all chit chatting when he called me to the back and he gripped my hand firmly and ask me to watch him in the eye and I did and then I could see myself Kissing him. then we both started giggling and everyone was watching and smiling and laughing really loud and making weird noises.....Then we both walked down the road holding hands and the other couples were too....Then we realized that love happens on purpose....
