Justine and Tristan were very much in love, and everyday the two met by a cherry tree on top of a steep hill that stood by a lake. Day by day Tristan gave Justine one rose for who to bring home to remember him by.
One day Tristan was at the market place where he met another woman, Samantha and became very smitten with her instead. He did not know how to tell Justine that he had fallen in love with another so he made the decision to stop meeting her at the cherry tree. Everyday for four weeks Justine showed up at the very same spot waiting for Tristan to return to her but he never showed up, after the two weeks ended Justine made her decision to never go back to meet him.
One month later, Tristan's lover decided that she was in love with another man and broke his heart. That following morning Tristan paid a visit to the flower store to buy thirty roses to make up for the days that have passed by. He had hope to see Justine's blue eyes light up in excitement when she saw how many roses he had, Tristan has his lie planned out already, he wanted to tell her that it was all a test to see how many roses he would bring back to her and that he had never met another woman.
Tristan came to the tree to see that Justine was not there as he expected her to be there was nothing but a pile of rotting roses and a note on the tree.
" Dear Tristan,
Do not think I do not know about you and Samantha, I am not the fool you expect me to be. I have waited all four weeks for you and you have not shown, now drop those thirty roses that you are holding in your right hand, and let me go."
Sincerely Justine.
Tristan crumbled the note with his left hand, he still had the roses in the other. He darted off of the hill and headed towards the shore of the lake, he could see a canoe sailing in the mist over the river, the canoe came closer and he could see Justine's long brown hair flowing through the wind he shouted her name she did not here him, the canoe came more into view, Justine was not alone she was with another man, another man that would make her happy and never leave her alone.

08/07/2020Yes, tragically people do this, use others just to have someone.

08/07/2020Don't people do these silly things? I think they call it "Fickle"
Best if people are honest about their feelings, and not be with someone just to be with someone.
