As she was walking in the forest that night, she heard footsteps. There were few drunkard men walking around. She tried running away from them for she fear they would do something bad to her for they were not in their right mind.

She ran and ran as fast as she could but before she could reach a safer place, they saw her. 'Hey look, there is a beautiful girl there, let's kidnap her.' She screamed when one of them caught her. 'I guess we would just have to kill her instead' said one of them. As one of them were about to take out their sword, they heard a loud scream. One of their men were killed. When they turned to their left, they saw a group of men with swords. 'Leave her alone or you shall die!' said a tall and masculine man with a husky voice.

'Oh yeah,if you want her, come and get her!' said one of the man. 'Challenge accepted!' said the man. And they were fighting till all the men died. The man then saw the lady and asked her whether she is alright. 'Hey there,I'm Chris, what's your name?' The frightened lady answered that her name was Meera. He then took her back to a hotel where he was staying with his brother and their men.
His brother,Tom who saw him coming with the lady asked him who she was and why is she here. He then told her how he saw her and saved her and that she would stay with them until she is safe to go out. He then said,'I want you to be in her room all the time just to keep her safe?' Tom then said,'But brother,I want to fight with people not spend my time looking after a lady!' But Chris insisted that he stay for he felt he was not ready to fight their enemies. Tom became upset for he felt he was not being respected by his brother.

And so he took Meera to his room and told her to stay there. The next morning,Tom was thinking so hard that he was lost in his thoughts that he didn't realise his eyes were at Meera. When Meera woke up,she saw him and thought he was looking at her in a strange way and so she threw her pillow at him. He quickly came to his sense and was wondering why she did that. She then said,'How dare you look at me that way! You are so disgusting unlike your brother! Argh!' He then got angry and shouted at her,'If not for you,I wouldn't be sitting here. I would instead be killing our enemies!' She then told him in an angry manner,'Even if I'm not here, you will never be called to join your brother.' This made him even more upset and he went out leaving her in the room.

It was late night and so she decided to take a fresh air out at the next building. As she was walking near the swimming pool, she felt that she was being watched. And then she saw someone with his face covered coming towards her with a sword. She then screamed as loud as she could. Tom heard her voice and so he went to their room searching for her. He saw from their balcony that she was trying to escape from the man. He then ran as fast as he could hoping he would be able to save her.

He then saw the man took the sword and he was in a position to kill Meera but before he could,Tom took out his sharp knife and threw towards the man. It hits the man's palm and he was bleeding. And when he saw Tom,he took his sword and they both fought. He then slashed Tom on his abdomen but before he could even hurt him more,Meera took Tom's sharp knife which was near her and stabbed the man thrice. She then saw Tom and put his hands around her shoulder and took him back to their room.

'Why did you save me when you actually don't even want me to be here?' she asked him..He then said 'It's my duty to protect you even if I didn't want to. I have to obey my brother's orders. And I have no one to fight with except you.' She then smiled with tears in her eyes and then she told him to rest while she went to lay on the other side.

'Everyone,it's time we increase our strength for we really need it for our next battle!' said Chris. Tom then told him that he has the capacity to defeat their enemies and he would be happy if Chris were to give him chance to show it. Chris was reluctant and so Meera decided to speak up. She told him how she was in great danger and how Tom saved her from being killed. And she then told him,he has what it takes to defeat any enemy that would come their way. Chris then said after thinking,' All right my brother, you shall be in the battle with us.' Tom was lost for words for his dream was going to become true. He then looked at her with a smile on his face and he gave her sign that he wanted to talk to her in private. They then went to their balcony alone and in private. He looked at her and said,'I don't know how to thank you.' She then replied with a smile,'I said terrible things to you, some things that I shouldn't have said, and yet you saved me. This is the only way I could thank you for being there for me.'

He took her hand and said,'There is something I want you to have.' And he took out a blue diamond ring and said,'This is my mother's ring. She gave it to me and so I want you to have it.' And he placed it on her finger. She then gave him a kiss on his cheek and thanked him.
