The lure of a youth drug(Gail Moore) My expertise is teleportation, Scientist, Doc of nuclear physics, Jaye Moore, 63 years old and working for NASA. My colleque, Ethan Jackson, 59 years old, Scientist, Doc of Chemistry. The year is 2056 and we have perfected teleportation. When I say we, I mean Myself and 4 other scientists working with me.

I was approached by Ethan with a crazy but ingenious idea that had been running around in his head.

Our conversation went something like this: Okay Jaye, "What if, just what if you could trick that machine to go back in time?" I laughed and said "who do you think I am, Doctor Who?"

He began to explain. "How old do you think I am" I hadn't thought about it so took an extended look at him, for a few seconds. "I need a totally honest answer" he said.

Is this relevant to what you are about to explain to me I ask. He answers "It's vital " Okay another few seconds and I honestly answer " Somewhere between ahhh 48 and 50 I'd say.

No he said "I am 59 years old." What bloody vitamins do you take, shit I would never have guessed. What's your secret mate.

Here's the thing he explained. 10 years ago I developed a drug, Mostly herbal products, It has actually stopped the ageing process. Inside and out. I am literally that age. About 49 years old.

"What's this got to do with teleportation into the past mate" I ask.

Well if we were to be able to teleport back in time take this drug teleport back to the present you would be as young as the time you transported back to. I laughed but at the same time thought it sounds so feasible. Ethan explains further and I am intrigued with his ideas.

It took a bit of convincing from him but we started work on our teleportation screen. A break though came 3 years later when we were able to go back 7 minutes 4 seconds. 3 years later and we had cracked it. We are able to go back 5 years. We have tried this but have not yet experimented with the drugs and teleportation at the same time.

It made sense for me to try this process first as I was the one ageing. He just sat at 50 yrs old. I could have started on his concoction but didn't do this as I needed to be the guinne pig for our experiment.

Day of experiment and I stood at the screen nervous that all our work may have been in vain and excited that I was going to be 5 years younger .I had inserted into my arm a intravenous swipe that I had to slap when I arrived at my destination. This released the drugs that would keep me younger .We were quite bothered about the fact that during our trials it felt like you may pass out. If that was to happen you could not come back as you had a time at most of 2 seconds to swipe computer to return to the present time.

We now had that 2 seconds to slap the intravenous concoction and swipe for return trip.

Here goes, I laugh and say, In 2 seconds I am going to be five years younger.

We take a series of photos, Every angle of my face .Every wrinkle .Ready he says, Ready as ill ever be I answer.

Ethan walks off then comes back over to me carrying a mirror and says, "Have a look Jaye at that ugly mug of yours mate. Lets see how pretty we can make you."

5 years is not that much but lets look at the photos first. We go to the computer and look at our before and after shots. There certainly was a difference. I couldn't wait until the next session.

One month later and I have my second session and people begin to notice. I am now literally 10 years younger. People are complementing me all the time. I feel fitter than I have in years. I was actually getting a bit of a big head over it. Looking in the mirror every 5 minutes.

Ethan and I are working with an ingenious idea of going back further. We were thinking 10 years at a time.

We were now thinking about the money we could be making but we would have to perfect the 10 years.

Meanwhile I have gone back a further 5 years Almost wrinkle free,and of course Ethan has also. He didn't have a line on his face.

We had decided that was it no more experiments for awhile otherwise we would not be able to experiment any further. We would be in our nappies. One thing for sure we would be our own advertisement.

Big day and Ethan goes first .He is going to be 10 years younger in 2 seconds. Ethan stands on our screen. Our biggest concern once more was the dizziness we may experience.

Oh well here goes buddy as I swipe for him.

Half an hour later and I am frantic , pacing the lab floor . Shit Shit Shit I say to myself. Come back for gods sake. We should never have tried the 10 years . It hasn't worked. Where is he , What year . I sat , I slept I began to eat after a few days and wonder how I was going to explain his disappearance. A week goes by and I decide, I was going back to find him. I had nothing to lose . I go back.




The year 2008 ,My name is Hunter and I am 15 I have a brother a week older than me his name is Spencer .We began to remember. We have no explanation as to why its taken 15 years for our memory to return.

We have lovely adoptive parents, Always there for us , Never cared where we came from.

They always told us the story of how we were found , Left in a field one week after the other. Wrapped in adult clothing . What looked like lab coats At first they thought we were brothers that's why they kept us together. DNA told them we weren't related at all .There was an extensive search for our biological parents. Newspapers said we fell from the sky, We may be alien babies and allsorts of other crazy stories went around. They had no explanation as to why we were both found at the same place one week apart, same clothing and as we grew our IQs were genius levels.

The place we were found at as babies it has just been announced it is to have a Nasa Laboratory built on it.. But then we already knew that and we knew that the probability of us working there on a time capsule and a youth drug was highly possible. We would not make the same mistakes twice. 5 years at a time would be enough. We will be happy with that . Meanwhile we will wait and grow a little older.
