​Chapter 1: Introduction

There was a very old village named Runswick. In that village, everything was peaceful, except that every Halloween a mighty dragon attacks the village, and ruins the Halloween, but there was no way that no –one tried to get rid of the dragon once and for all. All of the warriors who tried to kill it were strong, but the problem is, that they didn’t have that much intelligent to kill it, but eventually, they’ve got rid of this monster after 25 years of suffering from it, do you want to know who is this hero?? We are just going to find out.

Chapter 2: The beginning

At Runswick, there was a school right at the middle of the town, so everyone knew it, even agriculture workers, it was so famous that 70% of this village’s students joined it. But the face of this school was a super educated boy, he was so famous, but not loved by all –let’s say exactly like me-, his name was Alexander, he was always the top of the class, and sometimes on the whole village, he was so popular, but a bit weak, and he didn’t like it, so he decided to join the military. “I’m just so sick of their provocations, it’s time to put an end to this farce, I’m going to join the army, I’m never going to be weak again, and they’ll see.”, and since day 1, his spirit was so strong that he decided to go to war, but he wasn’t very ready yet.

Chapter 3: Another season of destruction.

It’s time, it’s Halloween, everyone is frightened, but as I said before, Alexander was so intelligent that he had too many plans to stop the dragon before it hits the village again, but, he was so young, so, they didn’t really listen to him, until he went officially to the chief, and offered some ideas, and the chief was very impressed, but he didn’t have the reaction Alexander was expecting.”Listen kid, I know that these plans could be useful, but I just can’t cost some more lives, your plans and ideas are perfect, but there are two problems, the first is I’m not very sure that these plans are workable, the second is that I don’t have the materials to try to build these security options, I wish I could do something about it, but unfortunately, I can’t.”, the boy was frustrated. On his way out of the chief office, he thought really well about what the chief said, he was finally noticed by someone important. When he reached his house, he had another idea, it had all the requirements the chief asked for- is to cost no lives and be affordable-, so he went back to the office.”Chief, chief!!” he cried, “I have another idea!!” the chief was so surprised, “And what’s that idea kid??” he answered, “I thought about what you have told me about, I really thought well, and I have the perfect solution.” The chief nodded and said,” Speak out kid!!” the chief was interested this time,” You wanted to have an affordable solution and costs no lives, didn’t you??” the chief answered: “Yes, indeed.” Alexander replies, “Why not we all go to cave or a mine that the dragon –its name is Sorrilth- won’t find? Plus, we’ll take the most valuable objects with us, so when Sorrilth attacks, he won’t make any damage to anything important.”

The chief was very shocked, how didn’t he find anyone with this mentality.

The chief answered:”Wonderful!! How didn’t I ever think like this?? I’m really thankful Alexander, and oh, would you please help me with something??” Alexander accepted without even knowing what did he ever wanted,” Would you please help me sharing your thoughts??” Alexander gazed in happiness. He was very surprised, he went out immediately to tell everyone. Not everyone believed him, then he brought an officially red stamped report from the chief, just to prove his honestly, it was simply an evacuation plan. Everyone took cloaks, warm clothes, and a big amount of food, to be enough for everyone. The whole village thanked Alexander for this amazing thought.



Chapter 4: Back to school.

A while after the Halloween, Alexander decided that he is strong enough right now, and went back to his school, he was even more popular than ever, and he wasn’t like everyone else, a strong bully, he respected everyone, and never hurting anyone younger than him, or make any trouble at the school, so he was awarded for his humble actions. The people who were used to harsh him with their words, really stopped doing that, they apologized for him, and never made problems ever again. The time passed and passed, and it’s two months away. This time, Alexander decided to go back to the chief and reoffer his plans to stop Sorrilth, and he said:” Hello chief, I’m back to give you some more plans to stop Sorrilth.”

And his plan was to make a mighty big cage and try to lead the dragon into it using some meat and food.

The chief accepted with only one condition, is to try some rehearsals since this very second. Alexander started working immediately.



Chapter 5: Revenge Part I



It’s almost Halloween, soldiers took their places while evacuating all of the citizens out of the village, and everyone was ready, including Alexander himself. But then, a major thing happened, Alexander decided to leave the village to go to the dragon’s underground safe house (in a cave), looking for a 1 vs. 1 combat challenge, that was everyone’s thoughts, but not Alexander, he lead the dragon into the village, it took days to reach, although he was using a mine cart on a rail. He reached exactly at Halloween night, the dragon was on his tail. The dragon was lead into the cage, everything was completely under control, until they made a big mistake. The soldiers held torches to calm the dragon down, but it only made him even on more rage. So the dragon broke the cage and escaped without harming anyone or causing any damage to the houses, citizens had the permission to get back. Alexander was livid because of what happened.



Chapter 6: Dragon’s Den



After what happened back at the village, Alexander took the permission to have some troops and head to the dragon’s hideout.

And he actually had that permission, he asked the troops not to use fire to calm it down, and he had already set a cage at the threshold of the cave. So, as they went in, they discovered that the main reason of the dragon attacking their village precisely. It was because of that it was someone’s pet, and this ((someone)) was executed by the village’s mean governor, it was taking revenge.

Alexander aborted his mission temporary. He went to some wizard, and he asked him. “Hello sir, I was wondering, could you confirm that if someone is dead or not??” The wizard has never been asked that before, he nodded and said: “I’d give it a try, would you please tell me the name??” he answered: “His name was Gallus, Gallus Metellus.” , the wizard answered: “Then he was Roman, huh??” Alexander docile and nodded in agreement. “I’m afraid not sir, he wasn’t, if you think that he was executed, then you have wrong information, he was replaced by some other one, and then he escaped out of the village.” Alexander was impressed by the wizard’s accurate information, then he asked again, “Then can you give me his current position or address please??”, the wizard in disagreement, “Pardon me sir, but you haven’t paid yet.”

Alexander through a sack of coins in front of the wizard and said: “These are 100, and I guess that they’re enough to give me a location, isn’t that right??” , the wizard checked the money and agreed immediately, he went back to his secret chamber underground and started doing his work. After a while, he went back with a result, he said that Gallus was in an ancient Greek town named Abontos, then he continued and said: “I know that it’s far sir, but do you want me to transport you to there in less than a second??” Alexander gazed surprisingly and nodded in agreement, “But, it might have some side effects.” Alexander replied: “Like what??” The wizard clicked his fingers and immediately went to Abontos, Alexander was amazed, because he was face-to-face with Gallus Metellus. Then, Alexander started to ask some questions.



Chapter 7: Revenge Part II



Back at the village, the chief has lost his mind because Alexander has never returned yet. So he sent some more troops to the hideout to kill the dragon forever. The surprise was, when these troops arrived at the den, they saw exactly 6 human skeletons and 6 horse skeletons and a broken ride (Alexander and his troops).



So they started throwing darts at Sorrilth immediately without knowing that these aren’t for Alexander and his troops. So in return, the dragon would send some flames into the troops, the warriors stood back and left the den, but this time, making sure that it doesn’t follow them. The dragon was hurt by the arrows and couldn’t fly anymore, so the warriors took it back to the cage which Alexander and his troops set at the entrance of the cage, and pulled it all the way to the village. The village citizens were concerned about what happened to Alexander just as they saw the dragon. The village went to a one shared feeling which is a worried face on all of the people in the village.



Chapter 8: At Greece



After Alexander finished his questions and got all the answers he needed to solve this mystery, it turned out that the dragon is peaceful, but a bit outraged. Alexander had to take action, so he decided to use the wizard to bring them all back to Runswick very fast, and he said: “You have a store in the middle of nowhere, in a wasteland, what about this offer sir?? You bring us back to Runswick, and I open you a shop at our village, plus, you’d be in festivals and concerts, you’d be joining important events as entertainment. So, what do you say??” the wizard clicked his fingers again.

When they reached Runswick, Alexander was so shocked after seeing what happened to the village, everyone is sad to lose as intelligent person as Alexander, but he proved he isn’t dead, and he went immediately to the chief.

“Hello chief, may I come in??” The chief gazed at Alexander in a terrified face, “Alexander?? Aren’t you dead??” Alexander replied: “Actually about that, I’m here to understand what happened after I was gone??” “We thought you died, I sent some more troops to the den to check out what happened, they said they saw your bodies in skeletons!!” “Anyway sir, I’m not dead, but I bet that you know Gallus Metellus, don’t you??” The chief was so surprised by hearing this name again, “Yes kid, I do know him.”

“But he’s already dead, he was executed long ago, I was a spectator on his execution.” Alexander continued: “Actually sir, neither he was dead, he wasn’t executed, he was replaced by another man, plus, I have him outside waiting for me getting out your office, if you want to see him.” The chief stood up and said promptly: “Alexander, I would like to promote you to a baron.”

Alexander raised his eyes and looked at the chief and hailed his chief, it was very glorious to be the youngest baron in history.

Then he remembered Gallus, and said: “Sir, I’m here to tell you that I know how to stop this dragon forever, and without hurting it.” “Give it out Alexander.” “Sorrilth was Gallus’ pet, and after you executed him as you thought, the dragon started attacking the village in revenge.” “Baron Alexander, you are fully authorized to start this mission right now.” And he took off immediately to the den.



Chapter 9: Mystery solved.



After Alexander has left the chief’s office, he took Gallus into the dragon’s den, so it would meet its master again and stop the harm and destruction it was used to do. When they arrived, they didn’t find the dragon, all they found was blood all the way from the dragon’s place to the outside of the cave, and didn’t stop, so they went back to the village once again. “I’m sorry sir, but, do you know where the dragon is??” The chief answered: “Oh, didn’t I tell you, silly me, we took it back to the village to kill it once and for all. I’d prefer that you don’t see it because it would be so angry.” Alexander was on fire. “Fine sir, but although that, I’m going there to get rid of the dragon but without harming anyone not even the dragon itself.” And he took off. When he found the dragon, it was so bloody and sad, so he pushed Gallus into it, and ordered to open the cage, because he knew it couldn’t fly. Sorrilth was calmed down after seeing Gallus.Alexander ordered to bring some doctors.

And they healed the dragon’s wings and it went flying with Gallus above it, and it took him back to Abontos.



Chapter 10: The end.



After the dragon was sent loose, everyone was so happy it was gone, so they’d celebrate the Halloween safely. The wizard was awarded with some achievements and a very big magic store, he was the only magician in the area. And Alexander was promoted into a chief procurator. Everyone was happy about Alexander’s job, it astonished everyone.

After one day, the whole Runswick turned into mighty big festival, everyone joined including the wizard, who made many shows in the town, and Alexander decided to stay in this village, till he dies
