“SPRING BREAK!!” Samantha shouted as she walked out the school doors.
“Hey Sam! What are you and Ray going to be doing over break?” Samantha’s best friend, Courtney asked.
“Well, he’s suppose to be coming over on Monday, to watch movies and stuff.”
“Stuff? What kind of stuff?”
“Just stuff. You know, this town is so boring. No one ever has parties, and there’s only about five hundred people in this town.”
“Why don’t you have a party?”
“I will. The day Ray comes over, and my parents aren’t home.”
“HEY EVERYONE! PARTY AT SAM’S ON MONDAY!” An eavesdropper shouted to everyone. “Um, what time do you want everyone to be there?” He continued.
“7:30.” Samantha replied.
“BE THERE AT 7:30 GUYS!”
“Oh gosh. I’ve got to get home. I’ve got a party to plan.”

“Whoa Sam. This party is the best!” Courtney said as she danced with her boyfriend, Tom, “You should’ve thought of this earlier!”
“I know. Listen, I need for you to watch the house because me and Ray are leaving.” Samantha replied.
“Where y’all going? To a hotel?”
“Maybe… I gotta go.” Samantha said running out the door towards Ray’s car.
“Hey babe.” Ray said greeting her.
“Hi. I checked in with the hotel. I told them we were on our way.” Samantha replied.
“Okay. Did you bring the outfit? I’m mean, what’s that thing called?”
“Lingerie?”
“Yeah. Baby, you are so smart. That’s why… I love you.”
There was a quick pause before Samantha replied, “Ray, you don’t have to lie to me, we were going to the hotel regardless.”
“Seriously. I do love you.”
“I love you too.”

“This hotel is a dump.” Ray said, walking into the hotel room, “Let’s leave.”
As Samantha opened the door, she saw a man in a trench coat with a pistol in his hand, pointing it at a young woman, “I told you not to do that, didn’t I?” He shouted at her.
“Yes, but-” the woman started.
“No buts! Bye baby.” The man said, pulling the trigger.
“OH MY GOD!” Samantha shouted.
“You! How much did you see!” The man shouted, walking towards the door.
“I didn’t see anything!” Samantha shouted slamming the door, “Ray, we have to get out of here.” She said locking the door.
“Yeah, I agree.” Ray said walking towards the door.
“No! We can’t go out that door!”
“What? Why? And who or what is that banging on the door?”
“I’ll explain later. We have to go out through the window in the bathroom.”

“Last night, a young woman around the age of twenty-two, was shot to death at a local Holiday Inn. Police have witnesses have come forward, and no leads as to who did this.” The news reporter said as Samantha turned on the television.

“I have to get to the police station.” Samantha said to Ray.
“Are you going to tell them everything you told me?” Ray replied.
“Yeah. Just get me down there.”

“Hi. I need to talk to any officer that is on the hotel murder.” Samantha said to the secretary.
“I can’t let you.” The secretary replied.
“Please it is very important.”
“I’m sure it is, but I can’t let you.”
“I NEED TO TALK TO THEM NOW!”

“Is there a problem?” one of the officers said.
“Hi. I need to talk to you about the hotel murder.” Samantha said.
“Do you have information?”
“Yeah. I’m an eyewitness.”
