Born 2005, F, from Buckley, United StatesI am from a seven-year-old “Big Puppy”, a stuffed dog my dad gave me, from the freshly new
Geronimo Stilton Books and the card game of War.
I am from the four dogs Max, Clink, Todd, and Zena.
I am from the big tree in the front yard I'd climb, the old worn chair I'd sit in and wave to my mom when she’d go to work in the front yard.
I am from going to church every holiday and weekend and the stubbornness, from Beth and Sherrie.
I am from the tendency to be rude to one another and tease one another, from “Well that's too bad” and “Wait what”?
I'm from Lansing and Owosso and Ireland, Grandma’s Golosh and pizza rolls from the pickle juice spilling all over the table, the milk being spilled on the floor, and the wheezing of my Uncle Jim when he laughed.
I am from the walls of my grandma's house, from where she can remember how young her grandchildren were.
I am from those memories - from the happy and sad moments that helped me reach where I'm going in life.
