"Only Ten Minutes"

Being so reckless has kept you away from me forever.

It was our wedding ceremony; everybody was extremely happy. Henry and I were full of pleasure; He looked at me and said, "Eventually, we will be together, and nothing can separate us."

After the ceremony had finished, he decided to drive the car himself, saying, "I desire to be with you alone."

I sat beside him, and my heart was full of delight. He was driving so quickly. I began to warn him because I felt anxious.

But he looked at me and said, "Don't worry, as long as you are with me. Only ten minutes, and we will reach our home."

He held my hands and smiled at me in order to calm me down, but I was not comfortable. Abruptly, an extremely big car appeared in front of ours. I could not remember what happened except that there was a great crash and screams.

After that, I woke up, but I was not in the car. I found myself at the hospital. I screamed, saying "What happened? What happened?" The nurse came quickly and tried to calm me down. She said to me that they did all their best, but unfortunately they could not rescue him. I blankly looked at her with no reaction, and I fainted.

After that, I tried to forget, but I could not. It is not easy to forget someone whom you loved passionately.

I tried to adapt to the situation; my family and my friends did their best to make me happy and forget, but they could not realize that I was only pretending to do that. I still love him until now; I cannot see anyone except him.

The last utterance which he said to me was, "There is only ten minutes." He said it without being aware of what fate had concealed for him.

Everywhere, I hear this utterance from many people; I remember him.

People say it carelessly, but if they think carefully, they will discover that ten minutes can entirely change the course of their life, like what happened to me.
