In Bubbles Full of Trouble


Early one bright Spring morning two rambunctious bears woke up from their hibernation! The bears names were Makayla and Phoenix.

"Good morning," said Mother Bear. "Get up! you're catching fish for breakfast."

"Great!" said Makayla.

When they arrived at the pond they saw Flaky Duck. "Quack,Quack," he said.
"Where is Mother Bear?"

"Oh!" replied Makayla, "we're big cubs now."

"We catch our own fish," said Phoenix.

Oh no, thought Flaky, this is going to be a long morning.



***Those Two Rambunctious Bear Cubs***

Makayla and Phoenix were very nosily at the pond. "Where are the fish going?" asked Phoenix.

"What fish?" asked Flaky. You two rambunctious cubs are scaring the fish
away, you're too noisy!"

So Flaky packed up his fishing gear and started to another pond!

"Where are you going, Flaky?" asked Makayla.

"I'm going to the wood pond," he shouted with a loud quack. Flaky was just a young duck himself. Flaky didn't want to play, he wanted to fish.

"Oh Flaky, where is the wood pond?" asked Makayla.

"Oh! It's across from Lady Latrine Rabbits garden," said Flaky.



***On the Way to the Pond***

"Oh", Whispered Makayla, "we're going too!"

"Wait", shouted Phoenix, "I caught a fish!"

"Come along Phoenix," called Makayla, "we're going to the wood pond with Flaky.

While walking to the pond, the cubs noticed a bunch of bubbles flying near Lady Latrines cottage.



***Bubbles Full of Trouble***

"Wow! look, Phoenix," said Makayla. "Bubbles! They're coming from that window".

Lady Latrine had forgotten to turn off her morning bath water and went to the garden!

All of a sudden, Makayla had an idea. "Let's go to the window to see the bubbles!

"Where are you going?" asked Flaky. "Come along, cubs we've got fish to catch."

"Quack, quack," hollered Flaky. "You're asking for trouble!"

Makayla looked in the window she saw beautiful bubbles.

"Oh wow," said Phoenix. "Now what?"

"I'll tell you what," replied Flaky. "Let's go to the wood pond and catch fish."

"No" replied Phoenix, "we're catching bubbles." So into the window they went!

Makayla leaped into the window. She splashed into the tub. Phoenix followed behind her and became stuck in between the window ledge, dropping his bucket with the fish he had caught and knocking over Lady Latrine Rabbits plants.

"Oh, dear! Help," he called out.

Then Flaky flew into the window to help and landed on top of Phoenix' head. All Makayla could think about was how much fun she was having in the tub full of bubbles!

The room was a mess. when Phoenix calmed down he climbed out the window. Makayla followed behind him, wet and full of bubbles.

"wait! we need to clean up the bubbles," said Flaky.

"Oh you clean the bubbles," said Makayla "we're going to the wood pond."

Then an unpleasant sound aroused the cubs ."Growl!" It was Mother Bear!

For little did they know Lady Latrine Rabbit had been watching them from her garden. Lady Latrine had hopped to Mother bears cave with news of the
cubs whereabouts. The cubs cleaned bubbles half the morning.

While the cubs were cleaning bubbles Flaky was enjoying fishing. Flaky had a wonderful fish catch. When the cubs arrived home there was a little bucket full of fish.

"Wow!" shouted Makayla.

Breakfast was ruined, but lunch is going to be great.

"Quack ,quack," uttered Flaky. "Next time I'll make sure I hide when I see those two rambunctious Bear cubs.
